The Boat Yard

The views are stunning, sat and watched the sun rise 😍 Two fabulous balconies (always great to have outside space) Location was good (just a short 16 min walk into the main town) Lovely and quiet (we stayed for one night over a weekend) Spacious apartment Comfortable and clean beds Overall clean! Shower gel, washing up liquid, hand soap and toilet rolls provided! Tea, coffee and sugar also provided! Great that on street parking is literally right outside the property! Check in and out very simple and easy

The apartment its self is very tired and rundown, it looks as if it could do with some TLC and modernisation! Some of the furniture is quite shabby! The bathroom definitely needs an overhaul! The tiles have started lifting away from the wall in the shower/bath and the grout is very black in places The kitchen, is very tired looking and although looks clean on the surface, the insde of the drawers and cupboards (especially the ones underneath) and most of the cookware inside, needs a really good clean, its all sticky and smells of stale fat! Fridge freezer not the cleanest! It lacks the basics, no dish clothes, scouring sponge or dish brush, no teatowels or table mats coasters etc Was it worth the money? In my opinion, too expensive for the condition of the apartment!

What a beautiful spot! A very relaxing place to stay by the river

No shops

Loved the balconies, the full moon rising over the opposite hill magical. Great estuary views. We only stayed for one night but had everything we needed. Appledore was charming and a short walk from the Boathouse. Wet fish shop nearly next door, couldn't get fresher fish.

No full-length mirror , one would be handy.

Nice clean spacious accomodation. Sunny patio. Very quiet road.

The view. It is not a terrace - it is a patio with no view of the river ( as seen in the photo ) - it could have that view if the brambles and vegetation were removed from this side of the fence. The accommodation is a little further out of Appledore than we thought. ( 15 mins walk ).
