Built in 2022 this spacious, comfortable, detached holiday home lies in a lovely village under 4 miles from the beach and 5 miles from the port town of Bideford.. All on the Ground Floor:

Nuthatch is a detached holiday home perfect for two people looking for a quiet getaway, or for adventurous types looking to enjoy the many walks and cycle routes available within the region. Built in 2022 and set within the grounds of the owners’ property, Nuthatch comprises an open plan living space with modern appliances, comfortable quality furniture and a Smart TV. The bedroom has a kingsize bed and en-suite shower facilities.



Outside, you can relax with an alfresco meal or an evening drink on the large decking while enjoying the peaceful surroundings with countryside views, and there is also a lawned area. Parking is available for up to two cars. Buckland Brewer is a village with the surrounding parishes of Monkleigh, Great Torrington, Little Torrington and Langtree. It has a convenience store and a popular pub and lies 15 miles from the regional capital town of Barnstaple with its many cafés and restaurants, Queens Theatre, multi-screen cinema, leisure centre with swimming pool, a purpose-built tennis centre with indoor and outdoor courts and an indoor trampoline centre.



The popular port town of Bideford (with its quay and pannier market), which sits on the Torridge Estuary is just 5 miles away. Affinity Devon with its shopping outlets is just 4 miles away. North Devon is famed for its fantastic natural attractions, including Exmoor National Park with its magical night skies in Europe’s first ’Dark Sky Reserve’. The many rugged coastal towns and quaint villages such as Lynton and Lynmouth, Ilfracombe and the world-famous Clovelly Village all have awe-inspiring scenery. Tamar with its water sports is nearby. You will be spoilt for choice with the stunning beaches of Saunton, Woolacombe, Croyde and Westward Ho! which are all within easy reach by car.



The fantastic Southwest Coastal Path runs through the region’s rugged coastline and is perfect for walkers and view seekers offering 90 miles of stunning walks. The popular Tarka Trail can be accessed locally and provides the unique opportunity to follow a disused railway line on foot or by bicycle allowing you to enjoy some of Devon’s finest countryside and river scenery which will take you through places like Fremington Quay and Yarde with their excellent cafés, Instow with its estuary beach and view towards the lovely fishing village of Appledore through to Bideford, Barnstaple and beyond.



For a day with a difference take a trip across to Lundy Island, home to England’s first statutory Marine Nature Reserve. Measuring just 3 miles by ¾ mile, this entire island has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest and trips regularly depart from either Bideford or Ilfracombe. Beach 4 miles. The world-famous gardens at RHS Rosemoor are just a short 7 miles drive away.
