We had the most amazing stay Louise was so approachable and friendly couldn’t fault a thing honestly

It was just perfect in every way, everything we needed and within easy reach of the beaches and places of interest the shower was amazing it was very quiet and peaceful loved the pool and hot tub and the welcome cream tea and bottle of milk from the local dairy was a lovely touch

Relaxing, dog friendly gem

Great views and location! It's definitely a great, calm place to stay for a couple or as a family if you wish to explore the North Devon beaches, gardens, galleries, or kid/family friendly attractions. The property was easy to find and all the instructions (access to property, use of pool, air con, recycling system and etc) were well explained and easy to follow. It has parking for electric and non-electric cars, dedicated daily time slots for access to a pool + hot tub, an outside seating and a bbq station. An enclosed field was a very nice and considerate touch by the owners, so our sensitive to other dogs staffie was able to run around freely. Down the road, there's a milk kiosk where you can get fresh cows milk and eggs (coin operated). The nearest shopping centre (Asda, Aldi, Starbucks, McDonald's, dog friendly clothing shops! and more) just a few minutes away with a car. The holiday here was so relaxing that I completely forgot and left my passport behind... Anne-Louise called to inform me about this and offered to send it back via post as we were too far away to come back, for which I'm extremely grateful. We most definitely would come back here again and we'll be recommending this place to our friends and colleagues for their holidays too.

Fabulous place to stay. Highly recommended.

We loved the location...so quiet and lovely to watch the birds and wildlife outside. The pool was wonderful and to have it to ourselves was such a bonus. We were given a cream tea and fresh milk from the farm next door. Such a great touch and thoroughly enjoyed! Bed was huge and very comfortable. Shower was great. We had everything we needed and came back fully relaxed. Thankyou so much and we are ready to return again! (We only left this morning!).

The only small thing was the light sensor outside our bedroom window. One night we felt like we were in a lighthouse. It kept going on and off all night! We think there must have been some wildlife setting it off 🦔🦡🦊.

Exceptional

It was amazing !we booked the coach house and it was so much better then expected.it was well kept and had so much character, everything was clean and I was obsessed with the fresh cows milk and eggs that you can get from the local farm down the road also the swimming pool and hot tub just topped it all off as it made things even more relaxing. Would definitely book this place again as me and my boyfriend fell in love with the place and think it's 100% worth the money

Great place! to stay a hidden gem

Dog friendly in countryside , mostly spotless . Friendly host , and welcoming. BQ facilities, outside sitting area with great views and an private amazing swimming pool and spa. Grounds were lovely, amazing beautiful views. One very nice pub walking distance. Seaside and town Westward Ho!! Not far in the car. Walks near by and woods on grounds. Local taxi excellent , and super restaurants seaviews recommended by host. We left items behind Anne-Louise notified us and sent parcel in the post .

Excellent property, quiet, rural location but only 5/10 mins drive from supermarket and main road to connect to local area. Swimming pool with allocated slot for each cottage worked really well...brilliant to have pool and hot tub to yourself!

Idyllic location with great access to the sights.

Wonderful location. Lovely grounds. Great views. Spacious. Powerful shower. Large bed. Well equipped kitchen. Swimming pool. Delicious scones and milk.

Nothing really. Couple of observations. Soft furnishings help to make it cosier but understand in the current circs why there aren’t any. The lack of lamps to create a softer/muted lighting arrangement. The lights were either on or off.

Exceptional

Arrived at the Coacjh House, check in instructions were soot on. Anne-Louise on arrival who told us of everything we needed to know, she also gave some excellent ideas if places to visit which were all perfect. The facilities themselves leave nothing to be desired even fresh scones cream & Jam on arrival along with fresh milk tea and coffee. The Coach House was luxurious all round and my husband and I will definitely be visiting again as it is ideally placed to visit plenty of places around Devon & Cornwall. We came away for a much needed 4 dat break and kept feeling completely regenerated, I cannot recommend High Park Barns highly enough, Thank you again

Exceptional

The owners were so welcoming, the small touches made the difference. Scones,jam and clotted cream. Fresh milk from the local dairy (you can also visit the farm to purchase more). The swimming pool timetable for each of the accomodations was well thought out. Thank you so much. I would highly recommend.

Nice location. High quality furnishings and fittings. The pool and hot tub were lovely. Appreciated the milk and cream tea.

It would have nice to have a parasol as it got very hot in the sun on the patio The flies were an issue...... inside and out..... Maybe some sort of fly screen on the door would prevent some from going inside
