About this cottage rental
Located in a peaceful residential spot, this property is within walking distance of the ‘little white town’ of Bideford. Here you will find an historic pannier market, antique shops, a tree-lined quay and selection of cafes. Once you have finished exploring Bideford, continue to Westward Ho! where you will find two miles of sandy beach, picturesque cliff-top walks and a multitude of eateries and entertainment facilities. Walkers should take to Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks, which are both within easy reach and offer stunning scenery along the way. Other nearby attractions include the cobbled village of Clovelly, The Milky Way and Lundy, which can be visited by boat.
Inside, the house has been designed and decorated in a contemporary style to offer clean and spacious open-plan accommodation complete with plenty of home comforts. Stepping into the entrance hall, a door to the left leads into the spacious lounge, where you can unwind on one of the comfortable sofas while making the most of the large TV with Sky and DVD. Doors from both the hallway and lounge lead into the light and airy kitchen/ding room. Prepare home-cooked meals in the modern kitchen, which is large enough for many hands to make light work and contains an electric oven, gas hob, air fryer, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, dishwasher and microwave. Next to the kitchen, a utility room houses a sink, washer/dryer and an American style fridge/freezer with ice dispenser. Dine at the large table, which has patio doors overlooking the garden and when left open create an al fresco feel. Heading upstairs you will find the four bedrooms which have all been fitted with Smart TVs for those long and lazy mornings. Both the master king-size bedroom and one of the double bedrooms benefit from an en-suite bath or shower room, while a further double and a twin room share a spacious bathroom with a shower over the bath. While younger guests will enjoy the pool table, table football and air hockey table in the games room, others might prefer a relaxing soak in the private hot tub or a session in the infrared sauna, which has its own media system.
Patio doors in the dining area open onto a paved patio area with garden furniture to seat eight, perfect for al fresco lunches overlooking the lawn with artificial grass and beautiful countryside beyond. Head down the steps to the bottom of the garden where you will find a private cabin which has a large hot tub and infrared sauna with media system.
