This beautiful house is located on Teter Creek Lake and is best known for its fishing.
You will fall in love with this stunning property from the moment you enter the tree-lined driveway! This beautiful home is well-equipped for large families or groups, with 360 degrees of "Almost Heaven" landscapes overlooking Teter Creek Lake, best known for its fishing and tranquility.
The large handcrafted dining table easily seats 16 people, with an additional eat in countertop, and lower sunroom dining area. There is also a 50 x 20 pavilion attached with a built-in fireplace that includes a grill grate and pot hook, oversized drink rails, and handcrafted benches. There is an additional pavilion with a porch swing and fire pit 250 ft from the home to sit and enjoy the serene views.
Teter Creek Lake is a 30 acre fishing lake located in Barbour County, WV. Largemouth bass, bluegill, channel catfish, tiger musky, and stocked trout are some of the species you can expect to catch while fishing on the lake.
NOTE: Only electric powered motor boats, kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats are allowed on the lake.
The Lake House at Teter Creek is centrally located for easy day trips to Elkins, WV, where you can schedule a scenic train ride on the Durbin and Greenbrier Valley Railroad, or head to Tucker County where you can explore the abundance of nature that "Wild & Wonderful" West Virginia has to offer. Blackwater Falls State Park and Canaan Valley State Park are located in Tucker County, along with the river town of Parsons, and mountain towns of Davis and Thomas. We booked this for a small wedding and it was absolutely beautiful. Spacious and clean, great opportunity for pictures. Would definitely hook again if I ever need a small, outdoor/indoor venue.
