Our gorgeous country farmhouse is sure to be a relaxing getaway for you and the ones you love. Enjoy the mountain views while sitting on the deck or soaking in the hot tub. This home away from home is just a short drive to downtown Elkins. Be sure to check out the neighboring Allegheny Highlands Trail for your morning walk or evening bike ride. Area ski resorts are favorite year-round attractions and are only an hour away. Enjoy all of nature's beauty during your next farmhouse stay!
Montrose is a quiet little community on the outskirts of Elkins. Expect a fifteen-minute drive into Elkins for any of your major shopping.
The Allegheny Highlands Trail is absolutely beautiful for your walking, jogging, or biking needs. The connector trail will lead you straight into downtown Elkins or into downtown Parsons in neighboring Tucker County.
Ski areas Canaan, Timberline, and White Grass are within a one-hour drive, and Snowshoe is one and a half hours.
In winter months, expect snowy or icy roads. AWD or 4x4 is recommended.
Please note this home does have stairs and bedrooms on all three floors.
We provide a starter set of the basics (toilet paper, trash liner, dishwasher pods, hand soaps, and paper towels).

Had a wonderful time, my husband especially enjoyed sitting out in the early mornings to see the animals and enjoy the cooler weather, we are from South Georgia!

We enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. It was well stocked and had everything we needed. The location was beautiful and very peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub. There was plenty of towels, firewood, and outdoor chairs available for use. There was one queen bedroom in the basement. On the main floor was a king bedroom, bathroom, and two pull out couches. Lastly, the top floor had a bathroom, king bedroom, and a bedroom with a twin and double bed. The one thing we didn’t like was how there was no curtains or blinds. In the kitchen is okay, but there was no curtain or blinds in the bathroom that has a window facing the porch. I would like for there to be that option in the bathroom and bedrooms. Otherwise, it was a great stay. Easy check in process!
