COZY CABIN in Alpine Lake Resort; 4 Season Recreational Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at the Chickadee Chalet! The house was spacious, with plenty of room for our group of 12, and one of our favorite parts was relaxing on the deck in the sunshine. The cabin is older, but well maintained and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We found it to be functional and full of charm. We also loved taking the cabin's canoe out on the water. The resort is peaceful, quiet, and beautiful.The kitchen was well-equipped with the essentials, and we cooked all of our meals there without any issues. It was even cool enough in June to enjoy a fire every morning—s'mores for breakfast became a fun tradition! So nice to have access to a washing machine and dryer as well. We also spent time at the lodge enjoying the pool and arcade, which were a big hit with the kids in our group. If you plan to visit the arcade, there is a change machine.If there are any specific kitchen tools, pantry items, or other creature comforts that are important to you, it's worth checking with Elissa before your stay or bringing them along. Once you arrive, you'll likely want to settle in and enjoy the beautiful surroundings rather than making a trip into town. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and made some great family memories.

Beautiful cabin with lots of room for all 11 of us and two dogs! And lots to do inside the cabin and all around the area. The beach was wonderful. Canoeing was great. Using the pool at the lodge was wonderful. The kids loved that. Swallow Falls was a beautiful thing to do. The hike was great and Elissa was so helpful and a great host. She seemed like family. We had lots of fires. Also it was just a wonderful experience!

Family friendly. Lots of room. Game room. Kids loved. Comfy beds. Loved the firepit. Kids did not want to go home.

We had a great time a Chickadee Chalet (including our group birdwatchers seeing a chickadee). While the weather outside was rainy, our plans were not impacted. We planned to play Pathfinder all weekend. The ping pong table made a perfect game table for all our laptops and maps. The amenities at the cabin were perfect for our needs. The kitchen was a nice size, the refrigerator/freezer was a great size. The dishwasher was big enough to keep us in clean plates and silverware. The bathrooms were nice and water pressure in the showers was really good.And working with Ellisa was fantastic. We had all the information we could use and then some for enjoying the Chalet and the surrounding area. Thank You, Ellisa! I think anyone who stays at Chickadee Chalet should have a great time.
