About this apartment rental

Calvi is the largest seaside resort in Balagne.
The 56 m² apartment is located on the first floor (with elevator) of the brand new standing residence Punta Rossa in Calvi (Haute Corse), 150m from the beach and only 10 minutes on foot from the town center where all the shops are located. and restaurants.
The car is absolutely not necessary, given the amenities close to the residence.
Calvi Sainte Catherine Airport (CLY) is only 10 minutes away by car (direct Air France and CCM Airlines flights from Paris, Marseille and Nice.
Arrival possible by boat (Corsica Ferries or SNCM)
Description of the apartment:

        - living room of 27 m², very bright, equipped with a living room with dining table, 4 chairs + 2 stools, a 140 x 190 double sofa bed, an 80 x 190 single sofa bed,
        - separate bedroom with 1 160 cm bed,
        - fully equipped American kitchen (ceramic hob, fridge - 160 l freezer, pyrolysis oven, dishwasher, washing machine, etc.),
        - partially covered loggia of 22 m² with sea view and citadel,
        - bathroom with bathtub, designer washbasin cabinet with storage drawers,
        - separate WC with hand basin,
        - 43 "LCD TV (103cm)
        - Hi-Fi / Video / DVD player set
        - numerous cupboards and storage spaces.
- public parking in front of the residence, but a car is not essential given the amenities adjoining the residence. 2 large surfaces are located near the apartment - Super U (150m) and Casino (600m).
- all amenities at the bottom of the residence or easily accessible on foot (bakery, hairdresser, pharmacy, doctor, restaurants, ready-to-wear shops, dry cleaning .....)

The apartment is great. Very good location 100 m from supermarket. Very close to the historical center of Calvi with dozens of good restaurants near. Very good beach 100 m from apartment. We had everything in our apartment. Laundry machine, dish-washing, etc. Very big balcony. Unfortunately due to winds blowing from the sea we had a lot of sand on the balcony. We recommend everybody this good apartment for staying in Calvi.

My husband and I stayed here for a week during our honeymoon and had a fantastic stay. The apartment is clean, new and in an excellent location that allows easy access to restaurants, the beach, the old town and train. Christian was a great host who provided all the needed information beforehand and made the process very easy. The only downside was that the property manager that meets you at the apartment in Calvi speaks no English and if you don't know any french, that could be a challenge! We managed to get by with our broken french but had we known nothing, it would have been a bit difficult. He was a lovely person though and regardless of the language barrier, he provided excellent information on where to go and what to do in the area. Overall, this apartment is highly recommended. We would go back here in a heartbeat and will remember this holiday fondly!
