Kyomachiya near the World Heritage Toji

The house is very clean and you get to experience living in a traditional home in Kyoto. Be prepared to use your own personal hotspot for the internet since they only have a mobile wifi but it’s down most of the time. The bathroom is outside the home but it has a nice toilet and all the toiletries are provided including toilet paper, laundry soap, hand soap, towels, toothbrushes, and even a comb. The shower area is separate from the toilet area but it has washer and you can hang your clothes in their provided hangers. They also have a nice tub inside the shower area. The water pressure is really awesome and they have water heater controller which works instantly. There’s a 7-11 and Lawsons nearby to get water and other supplies you need. There’s even vending machines all over the streets if you need water in the middle of the night and ran out. There’s Uber to help you get to this house and back to the airport. I believe the closest bus stop is Karatocho using bus #18. There’s a laundromat across Lu Pain bakery to help you do both wash and dry and they have soap included so you don’t need to bring laundry soap. They wash and dry in same machine and accept credit cards. There’s a drug store next to the washer dryer place. The washer dryer place in Google maps is incorrect - it’s actually to the right of the drug store. The home itself is super clean and no animal smell so if you have asthma you won’t have issues here, unless you are allergic to tatami mats. I had no problem.

Really clean and spacious the house was perfect for our family.

Property itself was gorgeous and we are so glad we stayed there. We did cut our stay there short as the location was very different than what is put on the listing. We moved to a hotel closer to our friends for the rest of our stay. Was also very hard to find due to the location being not where it actually is
