The whole house is reserved.
You can take JR Kyoto Line from JR Kyoto station, and get off at JR Katsuragawa Station(JR train time 6mins/just 2 stations), and walk 10-15mins to Funhouse Katsuragawa. Convenient transportation and shopping.
And the biggest AEON mall in the Kansai area is located at JR Kassuragawa nearby. The convenience store is within walk distance(5mins).We provide a comfortable environment for up to 7 guests.Self check-in.

Hao and the house are both excellent. He is really a helpful host. Before we checked in, he sent us messages to see if we have anything need help. When we tried to go to the Funhouse from Osaka, we rode on the wrong train and got lost. We tried to ask Hao for help, he immediately searched the useful information online and help us to solve the problem. Funhouse is a Japanese style house which is perfectly clean and beautiful. The two nights we spent there were just as we were at home. The second day were the Chinese New Year eve, Hao suggested to bring us to the spa (溫泉). However, we were in the place which is 30 min away from the house by car. Hao drove (with his little boy) to pick us up, returned to the funhouse to get some towels and went to the spa. It was really a wonderful experience to have a traditional spa. Thanks so much. This is definitely a good choice to stay in the funhouse with Hao as the host. One more thing is that, I brought my 4-year-old daughter with me. There were toys in the house and a lot of space for her to play around. Highly recommend especially you go with kids.
From 2017 opening, about 1,500 guest have stayed in Funhouse Katsurakawa, host is live nearby the Funhouse katsurakawa, so we can meet the various requirements of guest. Funhouse Katsurakawa is a good choice for for family and gounp(3-7pepole). We changed the new bed/aircodition/massage machine on 2019/10, and our housekeeper employee is all Japanese housewife, by the efforts of them, we have confidence to provide more cleaning,more beautiful, more safe accommodation for you.

The property does not have a parking lot, but you can use the public parking for 500 yen/24 hours.

This was a welcoming and well appointed house, complete with a lovely deep bath and cozy blankets that the kids loved. It was very easy to relax here. The only downside was the location, which was a 25min walk from the train station (and then only 2 stops to Kyoto), or a 5 min walk to the bus (which only comes every 30 min)It took 45min to an hour to get to pretty much any major attraction, which limited us a little bit. We made it work though and still had a great stay!

We had a great experience with our place in Kyoto. We are a family of five (three adults and two children). The house was located in a quiet neighbourhood off a main arterial road. The house had plenty of space for us to spread out. The house is a 15 minute walk (without luggage) to a JR station. From the JR station it is two stops on a local train to the main Kyoto
train station. Beside the local JR station was a large AEON mall with a grocery store. Our host was great, responded quickly and helped us when we arrived and called us a taxi when we left. It was very much appreciated. One bonus was that there was a coffee maker for our use which we were happy to have. Thank you for a great stay!
