Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property is a great location. Unit is nice/bright. 5 pages of "Rules to live by" is overkill. I understand some guests may be problematic, but not everyone is uncivilized, especially for guests who have been coming 12+ years. Front office is helpful with basic needs. Anything beyond I get the feeling they do not really care, but they'll say "sorry" with a smile. Last few years units aren't as clean as they used to be. Kitchen cabinets needed wiped down & the bathroom floor. Every TV worked differently & none were simple- no instructions in the condo. Prices have gone up considerably & every year there are fewer amenities. Weekly cleaning disappeared a few years ago, no starter paper towels now, only gave us (4 guests) 2 keys, used to get 3. Not even the little pad of paper/pen. Used to get a laundry card with first load on the card. We choose to live w/o smartphones, which Palm Bay punishes you for. We were told we would have to buy the card for $5 (but I'd get to keep it, oh yea!) so first load of laundry would cost $10 after paying for wash/dry. A couple days they ran out of beach chairs. Found out they rented way less than usual for the season. Before 2020 Palm Bay used to be worth the price, but considering the price hike in recent years, I hate to say, I'm not seeing the value for the $.
