It has been certified as allergy-friendly: the Baabe Baltic Sea resort is the first municipality in Europe to receive the title of “Allergy-Friendly Community.” The goal is to offer people who are particularly sensitive to environmental influences a stress-free and low-stimulus vacation by the sea. Since the Baabe Baltic Sea resort, located in a shallow bay, benefits from a low-pollen climate, clean sea air, and gentle, moderate winds, the natural conditions here are absolutely ideal.

Activities around Baabe: On-site in Baabe, there is a surf school with surfboard rentals, beach volleyball, bike rentals, guided bike and hiking tours, fishing trips, boat rides, and a nude beach. Concerts and entertainment are offered at the music pavilion in the spa area. There are also beach cafés, restaurants, cozy fish pubs, and a movie theater. In the neighboring town of Sellin, you’ll find the “Inselparadies” pool, featuring 600 m² of indoor and outdoor water areas, a 100-meter water slide, a parent-and-child area, and a spacious sauna area.
