Step out the door and you’re one block from Broughton Street. River Street, Bay Street, City Market, and Savannah’s best restaurants and nightlife are a walk away. No Ubers. No parking stress. That’s the difference between “near downtown” and actually being downtown.
This 1894 Victorian sleeps six in three rooms with 2.5 baths - and it comes with something almost nobody in the Historic District has: a private two-car garage.
Inside, 1,650+ sq ft blends original period detail with modern design. Ten-foot ceilings, hardwood floors, antique staircase, five gas fireplaces, and plaster walls meet designer furniture, granite kitchen, stainless appliances, and marble bathrooms.
The layout:
Bedroom 1: King bed with memory foam mattress
Bedroom 2: Queen bed with en-suite bath
Living room: Queen sleeper sofa with Tempur-Pedic mattress, and the room can be fully closed off for privacy
Three outdoor spaces: jasmine-draped front porch, upper balcony overlooking the Owens-Thomas House garden and Oglethorpe Square, and a private walled rear courtyard with a fountain.
You’ve got the whole house, the garage, the garden, and the porch. We’re available if you need us, invisible if you don’t.
Dogs welcome with prior approval and a pet fee. We accept dogs under 30 lbs for $150, and dogs 30–45 lbs for $190. Larger or multiple dogs require approval and an additional fee.

This was hands down one of the best VRBOs we’ve ever stayed in! The home is absolutely beautiful, impeccably maintained, and has so much historic charm while still feeling luxurious and comfortable. We loved being just a short walk from the river, but away from the busiest tourist crowds so we could enjoy Savannah at a more relaxed pace. We discovered wonderful local restaurants, shops, and beautiful streets that we probably would have missed otherwise. The two-car garage was an incredible bonus—something that’s hard to come by in the historic district and made coming and going completely stress-free. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book this home again. If you’re visiting Savannah, do yourself a favor and stay here—you won’t be disappointed!

House was as advertised. So cute and a great walkable area. We had a great time in your beautiful city! House was well stocked and clean. Loved having the garage so we didn’t have to find street parking. Front porch was great to sit on in the morning and have coffee.
