Great, affordable place, in perfect location, for vacation with friends, couples, families and diving buddies! 3BR, 2.5B house on private street in Villas del Caribe on Calle 4 between 30 & 35 Aves.
Park your rental or scooter on the safe private street or in the carport. Just 6 blocks and a quick 10 minute walk from the center square and ferry to Playa del Carmen. Excellent restaurants from budget to gourmet within walking distance, or walk 1/2 a block to 30th street and catch a cab at a moment's notice. 2 supermarkets, liquor store & laundromat just around the corner. Full kitchen, refrigerator, purified bottled water dispensers. US standard pressurized water in showers. Beautifully designed rooftop terrace complete with eating area, hammocks and a 1/2 bath perfect for hot island days and day or night lounging. 1 master suite with king bed & full bath attached. 2nd bedroom with king & 3rd bedroom with 2 twins (or can convert to king) share full bath. House was clean, comfortable and located in-town. Description of the property is a little misleading. There is a small dipping pool on the roof, but access is up a very, small spiral staircase...not easy for the older generation. The listing included a "hot tub" but we didn't find one on the property. This is located in a residential area so understand there are "noisy neighbors". Entrance to the property is more of an alley and at times can be very narrow with cars parked in front of the different units. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The accommodation was exactly what you need. Great eating establishments nearby. Market just a 10 minute walk. The best thing after a long day and long flight and issues with car rental it was so refreshing to have our host waiting for us as we arrived. 👏👏🙏👍😀😀

After staying at this property I have to say that the owner and the property manager were super nice and very very helpful. I appreciated them taking care of any issues that came up and also just helping with recommendations around the island. However, there were a couple things that I would say need improvement. The house itself needs some major upgrades. (Mostly in the rooms) There is lots of work that need to be done in the bathrooms and bedrooms. All of the bedrooms had very very hard beds which didn’t make for the best sleep. The area is awesome IF this is not your first time coming to the Cozumel and you want to have more of a local experience. It is not far from the beach and restaurants etc I would say about a 30-45 minute walk one way. (Again more in the local neighborhood.)
