Cozumel Frente al Mar

The view was spectacular, location was great, very nice bathroom, well equipped kitchen, and the beds were perfect!

All was good.

Nice view, easy access to downtown area and ferry, clean and spacious.

Incorrect lock code given for access, but resolved fairly quickly. It's on main street so some street noise, but very quiet in main bedroom area.

We booked this place because it is on the parade route for carnival. It is indeed on the route, and has a nice little balcony from which you can interact with the floats and the people enjoying the festivities. It also has a lovely view of the sea and is super close to great places to eat. It does have easy use of a washer and dryer (though we didn't actually use the dryer). The apartment and the area around felt super safe.

We were disappointed to find that the apartment did not actually have 2 separate bedrooms, but 1 bedroom and two extra beds in the living room. The only toiletry provided was shampoo, the air conditioner in the bedroom did not work, and the internet was not working, even after we tried resetting it multiple times. We guessed the password for the apartment next door and used it. We ran out of toilet paper on day 2 of our 5 night stay. The shower drain was super slow, so two showers flooded the bathroom floor. The kitchen was minimally stocked, and the neighbors garage was left in the hallway for 3 days. Some things could have been cleaner, especially the floors, but the sheets were fine. None of these things were deal breakers that made us have a miserable time, but it was very disappointing.
