Villa Blanche - Top quality villa surrounded by nature, close to the beach

Great villa that was a good size for 10 people. Pool was fantastic and the children spent hours playing. The added bonus is the cleaning service that came in twice during our 9 night stay. I’m glad we had a car so we could see more of the island although the closest village of Almyrida is only 20 minutes walk away that offers everything you need on holiday.

The villa is exactly as pictured & described in the listing. The booking process was easy & the level of contact with the property managers was great. We were met at the villa by a rep who showed us around & provided a welcome pack - which was a nice touch. They provided telephone, WhatsApp & email contacts for our visit .The villa is in a quiet location (uphill) but only 1km from Almyrida - which had a small supermarket, restaurants, bars, usual holiday shops etc. The beach is small but the sunbeds shaded (which we liked as it was very hot during our stay). There are a lot of restaurants & bars in the surrounding villages, and all that we visited were great - we used Trio Advisor to source these). The villa is well equipped & clean. The pool man came regularly as did the cleaners. The bedrooms are well appointed. The aircon is excellent. The pool is great. It is 1.5m deep throughout (except for the steps). The sunbeds are comfortable. There is only 1 small parasol so the villa would benefit from at least 1 more. The BBQ was useful & there was enough charcoal & firefighters provided for first use. The outdoor dining area is well shaded & the seating comfortable. Useful local information is provided (which was helpful as we needed to use the local medical centre in Vamos - English speakers & quick, efficient service). The views are spectacular with a sea view at the front of the property, and mountains to the rear). We hired cars for our stay. I would happily return

We loved staying in this villa! Would definitely rent it with a bigger group next time. The rooms are beautiful and the backyard is stunning. The two cute kittens living in the garden were definitely my favorite feature after coming back from a long beach day! The only thing I would change is the massive dumpster/garbage bins right next to the villa… they were definitely an eye soar.

From the moment we booked the villa to the moment we left on our last day, we experienced excellent service. We enjoyed all the benefits of being part of a well-run hotel complex, but with the privacy of our own villa. Thanks to Kostas who responded to all of our pre-arrival questions and requests with speed and efficiency. Kostas kindly arranged a taxi to meet us at the airport, this arrived on time and the driver was waiting in Arrivals as promised. We noticed that the Villa website offers a grocery shop, so took advantage of this, due to our 11 pm arrival to the villa. Waiting at the Villa was Olga, who needs a special thank you. All the shopping and snacks were waiting for us, which was a real welcome treat. Olga did a quick but comprehensive introduction to the property. This allowed us to quickly settle and relax. There were a few issues, nothing that spoilt the holiday, but Olga was always on hand to sort whatever out. A testament to excellent customer service. We locked ourselves out a safe, a door came off its rails and the AC broke in one of the bedrooms. These happened on different days, but as soon as it was reported, either Olga or Workman was around the same day to fix it. Nothing was too much trouble. We were happy to see that they took cleaning so seriously and the Villa had a deep clean, new bed linen and towels every 3 days. One of the group was very ill one day and was transported to hospital, Olga and Edit from the office were there to support us. We couldn't have asked for any better service. The Villa was just as you see in the pictures. On many occasions you are fooled by old photos with other locations, but not with Villa Blanche. What you see online, is what you see in reality. The location is perfect if you want quiet. The walk into town is about 20min. Just long enough to work up an appetite and to work off a good meal. There is nothing about the holiday, Villa, or location we would change. It suited everyone in the group - Adults and Children. Would definitely visit again and it Villa Blanche wasn't available, would definitely consider another Villa in their portfolio, knowing that we would be well looked after.
