About this house rental
Put your feet up and take a restful break or sample the many activities available in and around Matauri Bay.
Take a swim down at the Bay, fish around the local waters, dive on the final resting place of the Rainbow Warrior, indulge in a game of golf at Kauri Cliffs, pick up a bottle of wine and some food at the local Top Shop and Blue Bar or take a leisurely drive along the coastline passing Te Ngaere, Wainui, and Tauranga Bay to Whangaroa Harbour.
From here you can explore the Far North by travelling to Ninety Mile beach and Cape Reinga passing many iconic settlements on the way or heading south to the historic Bay of Islands areas of Kerikeri, Paihia, Waitangi and Russell.
Our 3 bedroom home is bright and modern with open plan living and stainless steel kitchen appliances.
The views greet you in the morning from the front bedrooms, which have French doors that open onto a full length deck.
The living areas also open onto the deck and the expansive views of the Cavalli Islands.
All the linen will be supplied and help generate a feeling of comfort and warmth at a realistic price.
We invite families, couples and groups of friends to come and sample the area.
Special conditions:
Smoking allowed outside only.
All garbage and recycling items to be removed from the property at departure. (Directions to the local refuse transfer station is available).
All bedding and linen is supplied at a compulsory cost of $50 per stay.

Thanks for having us in your whanau home at Matauri BayAwesome kitchen and laundry appliances, great bathroom and really comfy bedsThe initial smell upon entry was unpleasant, and I believe it originated from the BBQ stored in the lounge (an oil and grease smell). Also, the rangehood did not work, which may have contributed to the greasy smell from the last guestsFor your information:Blinds in the kitchen and lounge were mouldy, and the skirting boards were dirty- needs a commercial cleanLino flooring in the bathroom was coming apart - see photoAlso, the linoleum in the kitchen near the pantry was beginning to splitAlso noted some holes in the linoleum under the couch No toilet cleaning products supplied, so unable to clean it properlyOverall, great stay and thanks again

I have just one thing to say if u would like people to clean what they use. Well i do believe that if a house is fully clean then people will have no problem in cleaning what they use. So we use the fridge, but i did not clean it after we took all our food out because it was not clean when we first stuck our food in. Other then this we so enjoyed our weekend in this beautiful home its warm and cozy, its as beautiful views of matauri bay. Its beautiful in a storm and when the weather is beautiful. So thank you to the host from me and my family. We will stay here again...
