Comfortable stay in lovely house close to amenities
Everything looked good, very clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable and there were enough pillows. There’s an ensuite, main bathroom and a downstairs toilet which was helpful with five adults. There was a large fridge freezer, beautiful kettle with matching toaster. Kitchen was well equipped and even had tea, coffee sugar and crisps and chocolate bars. The showers were really good and there was shower gel and towels. The bed linen smelled really good and was just perfect for a summer night. The rooms also had fans, long mirrors and a place to hang clothes.
We were all disappointed because the property is called Lakeview house but there was no water in sight except puddles left by the rain. We were on a housing estate and each room had either a view if other houses or a view of the pub and some trees. Maybe they need to reconsider the name so that clients can manage their expectations before arriving. But generally the property was really enjoyable and my adult children loved it.

Family weekend
The property was very clean and perfect for a family stay. It is close to food shops and a family pub is through the hedge which the kids loved! Even though the pub was so close there was no noise or disturbance. Lots of lovely walks nearby and a quiet residential area. The host kept in regular contact and replied to any message immediately. It really was a home from home with everything you needed for a relaxing weekend
No complaints but it would have been good if a hand towel was left in the bathrooms/downstairs toilet. We never packed one and it's not always possible to remind the kids to take a towel with them every time!
