Christmas stay

Nice, spacious house. I stayed with two 2 adults and 2 children, and it was fine. The location is good, 15 min walk from the town centre. The kitchen is well stacked with pots and utensils, and the coffee machine is a nice touch. Owner responds quickly to questions. Owner provided a Christmas tree, again a nice touch.

There was an issue with the hot water, the owner resolved this quickly the next day. The front door could do with a lock inside. Currently, a key is required to lock the door. Alternatively, an extra key would be helpful. Just to note, there is no WC downstairs, which wasn't clear in the description.

Good location. Nice house. Well equipped

For 2 of us it was very spacious and enough storage. Kitchen was well equipped with plenty of fridge space. Good laundry room. JP was very responsive when we reported a couple of problems

Basic but fine for a couple of nights

Great location as we were visiting friends in town, nice quiet area and easy to find. Plenty of space downstairs.

Facilities are fairly basic, not quite what we were expecting. Thin towels, and very thin curtains, bathrooms a bit tired with cracked tiles but surface level clean. Very soft beds. Only cold water showers for us sadly as there was a problem, but the owner came to fix it when we were out, so hopefully, it was fine for the next guests. Not in time for us and our event, which was really disappointing. Kitchen cupboards and splashback are quite grubby. They just need a good scrub, lots of spiders / webs on ceilings and doors again, which was a bit disappointing given previous reviews but we evicted as many as possible. We left as early as possible, which was a shame.

Outstanding..... everything!!!

The facilities were amazing, and the house was so cosy, we arrived a little later than expected due to 3 hungry mouths, but as soon as we got in everyone had chosen their rooms, and it was like home from home, full range of facilities, bathroom, en suite and an amazing conservatory and back garden, the children loved it too.

I can honestly say the stay was amazing. I have no negative feedback whatsoever.
