Lovely clean and comfortable townhouse. Fresh and modern facilities. Lovely decor throughout.
It had everything we needed for our stay.
We loved the Torrent Hotel pub. Great atmosphere, food, drink and staff.
The fish and chip shop down the road was amazing too!

Location was great and easy to find. So many lovely new independent shops in Dolgellau it’s a lovely town to visit.
House was immaculately clean with quality bedding and well provisioned kitchen.
Beautifully decorated for Christmas.
We loved everything and the only small criticism might be logs for the fire. It was a horrendous day when we arrived. So wet and cold. We had to go out searching for somewhere to buy logs immediately and if I didn’t know the area well we’d have struggled to find a local shop.
Just a starter pack would be a lovely gesture.

Location was perfect for our touring of north wales. Nice accommodation, didn’t use the kitchen for cooking as we ate out for breakfast and supper locally.
Tv didn’t appear to be tuned to receive terrestrial programs. It was Netflix and Prime compatible but you needed an account to log on. It was not a big problem for us as we were out most of the time.

Self catering/ lovely little town house right in the beautiful town Dolgellau. Perfect base for 3/4 peaople to explore this beautiful part if wales. We stayed 2 nights to walk up to the Summit of the Cader idris mountain range.I will stay at cosy cottage again & will reccomend it to family & friends. A perfect 2 night stay & successful walk on the pony path to the Cader idris summit.
The weather wasn't kind to us. But thats pot luck in the UK. But it made it more of a challenge. I will not complain about it as Iv'e done that path before & the Minffordd path in lovely sept; sunshine.

We had a lovely stay and found the accommodation perfect for what we needed. It’s in a peaceful location, close to a shop (which conveniently sold logs for the log burner – a brilliant touch), and the bed was super comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with most of what you'd expect, and overall, the house felt homely and had good bones.
We read previous reviews mentioning a damp smell. We didn’t find it damp – it seemed more like a strong-smelling cleaning product used throughout the house, which may not be to everyone’s taste but didn’t bother us too much.
There were a few things we noticed and have shared with the owner, such as the kitchen lighting – most of the bulbs were blown, which made it quite dim. The hairdryer didn’t work, and although the house was generally clean, it wasn’t sparkling – mirrors were a bit smeary and the outdoor space needed attention. The patio area had some weeds and dirt on the slabs, and the bins and weedy window boxes outside the kitchen window made it look a bit tired.
A small thing but worth knowing: there wasn’t a dishcloth provided, which made washing up a bit awkward – we were glad we brought a spare tea towel. Also, take dishwasher tablets as none were provided, though it’s great that there is a dishwasher.
One other niggle – the toilet lid leans back against you when you sit, which is a bit uncomfortable.
That said, we really did enjoy our stay. The peace, the comfort of the bed, the log burner – these made it a lovely place to be. With a bit of extra attention to the finer details, this could be an absolutely top-notch place to stay. We would definitely come back.
