Would recommend!

Very clean - absolutely could not fault cleanliness. Had everything we needed including small amounts of toiletries which was great as son forget his shower gel! Tea coffee hot chocolate providedTowels super soft. Heating was very efficient, toasty on arrival! Considering its on a main road it was really quiet. Parking was great. 15 minutes walk to Wind Street, location very handy. Sofa bed comfy and could sleep 2. Sea views! Flat is ideally located if you are able to walk 10-15 mins to get into town and pubs. Few minutes drive if needing to use your car. Very good value for money and we'd recommend it to friends and use again ourselves. The negatives would NOT put us off and are not issues just mentioning to manage expectations. Best part was the very responsive and super helpful owner/host, much appreciated thank you.

Flat is on the top floor - not accessible for those unable to use stairs. No issues for us just highlighting to help others. Mattress was incredibly cheap and well used, felt every spring, but once we found a spot we fell asleep and slept ok, no good for restless sleepers/insomniacs! Strange musty smell in kitchen and bathroom but probably because of no window/airflow. Overall finish on the flat and communal areas are poor however the stay is good value for money, no obvious repairs or hazards.

It was close to being a central location. Food and store were accessible.

It a very old. Dirty. Falling apart. Left 1( already used) roll of toilet paper, no garbage bags and 3 old towels for 4 people for 5 days. Air bnb style so no one is there to assist. The dishes that were there were dirty. You have to go up 4 flights of steep stairs to get to unit. Definitely needs a deep clean and new towels and linens. Beds were like sleeping on springs and a wooden board.

It was freezing 🥶 The windows were left open and the heating did not work we left before 8am as we slept very little as it was cold No covers on the sheets for the sofa sleeping Host did not reply until 26 minutes before check out time about the lack of heating

The property was in poor condition with a strong unpleasant smell, an uncomfortable damaged mattress

I had the codes to enter the building Had a fan in the room Clean kitchen with a mini fridge

As soon as we entered the property, the smell was overwhelming and there was no sense of cleanliness or safety. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable, with springs protruding from it, and offered no support at all. The shower was leaking, and the sofa bed was heavily stained and very difficult to convert into a bed. Additionally, there was no parking available nearby—we had to park quite a distance away. Despite being advertised otherwise, there was no sea view, and the walk to the sea took around 20–30 minutes. The room It self was right at the top last one

Very comfortable stay with easy access to everything. The landlord was extremely responsive — we had a lock issue, and it was resolved within an hour. Highly recommend

Worse than student digs!

Tatty and old, tired and needed complete refurb! Couldn’t lock the front door from the inside and so had to lodge ironing board against the door for security. Not much in kitchen, plates in cupboard were dirty, only side plate, no dinner plates, double bed needs to go to the tip, mattress feels decades old and no headboard. Entrance hall, stairways and apartment front door are all tatty and uninviting. Don’t think it was worth £75 a night

Good location, would recommend it, despite the issue with the boiler

Good location, comfortable and well equipped.

Unfortunately the boiler had a fault on it the morning, which we weren't able to reset, so no hot water. It wasn't a great issue as we only stayed one night and weren't far from home. I did message to inform the owner after we left

Only good if you’re looking for something last minute on a budget

The location was perfect as we were able to walk to the city centre and back without struggle. It was nice to have sea view from the bedroom window which we didn’t expect. The flat was nice and warm and the building was quiet. Communication of check in details came through quickly.

The flat had a strong smell of wee when we first walked and when I went into the bathroom I found that the chain had been left unflushed as the toilet was full of wee which wasn’t very nice and made us uncomfortable at how the flat had clearly not been cleaned very throughly. There was still a strong stale type of smell upon return after going out for a meal. The sofa was incredibly uncomfortable and hard and there was a stain on the bed sheet. The tea towel also smelled strongly of fish so we were afraid to use kitchen utilities because of the lack of cleanliness of other facilities. It would have also been useful if there was a mirror in the bedroom/living room to do hair and makeup as it was difficult to get ready in the morning. I would additionally advise you clearly advertise that this as a top floor flat to be clear about its accessibility. This wasn’t an issue for us but it would have been good to know.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, Bahnhof, Busbahnhof, Stadtmitte, Supermärkte sind alle zu Fuss in höchstens 20 min zu erreichen, ebenso die Küste.

Die Vorrichtung, in die der Türcode eingegeben werden muss, funktioniert schlecht, wir mussten es immer mehrmals versuchen. Wenn man nicht schnell genug ist, geht das Minutenlicht im Flur aus.
