Caerketton View Lodges

Modern, Eco-friendly, extremely well equipped and very comfortable Accommodation. Egyptian Cotton Bed Linen was a really nice touch. One Double Bedroom and One Twin Bedroom makes it ideal for a small family, Double Bedroom has En Suite Shower & Toilet. So much to like about the Lodge I could go on forever, Lovely Hosts was another Bonus

Nothing to dislike except it is quite easy to pass by the access from the road.

The lodge was clean and I really like the open design kitchen and living. In the morning, we woke up to a view of horses in the fields in front of our lodge. It’s baby friendly, you can ask for a travel cot and high chair if needed. I really like that it’s built with sustainability in mind and also it has air conditioning for those hot summer days!!! Also, the water pressure for the shower is amazing.

I can’t comment on the staff as we didn’t meet them. The Lodge was self contained. It is a lovely property in the countryside next to a horse stables. It was lovely to watch the horses. It’s a modern lodge with all of the facilities you need. I really liked it as it’s a home from home. Lovely bedding, towels and toiletries etc. we were really comfortable with the beds, nice and firm and we also loved the power showers. We thought a lot of thought and care went into the building and furnishing of the lodges. Thank you to the owners 😊

The property was a little bit remote i.e; the bus service was mostly hourly to Edinburgh and unsure as to what time the last bus would be. Having said that, it was quiet with beautiful views. I would recommend anyone to stay here. I have a little issue with the cleanliness i.e; the hob was not clean, I thought it was damaged but found something sticky had not been cleaned off. I cleaned it myself. I also found that there were crumbs under the sofa cushions. Otherwise everything else was spot on.

Everything about loganlea was exceptional, we were only there for 2 days but it was so relaxing. Will definitely visit again.
