Great location outside Salzburg, with easy access to the Saltmine, Eagles Nest & the city via public transport.
Lovely reception staff, great team at breakfast. Good continental breakfast with plenty of choice.
Rooms are rustic & simply furnished with good storage. We had quad room, shower room was compact, shower good.
Parking available outside the hotel, easy walk to the bus to Salzburg - route 170 is the quickest into town.
Great gelateria over the bridge in the old town.
Food recommendations:
Their restaurant - Mexican. Staff lovely & friendly 😊
Gasthaus across the road - traditional Austrian menu
Ta Leme Greek restaurant in old town
Stadtkrug Bar & restaurant in old town
It would have been lovely to have had a bar area within the hotel; our stay wasn't adversely affected by this.
Additional plugs/ extension sockets in the bedroom would have been a helpful addition.

The hotel is lovely and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there were some overnight roadworks right outside my window at the same time as my stay. Not only did the hotel move my room, but they also packed up my stuff and moved it for me while I was out for the day. Super helpful and friendly. Excellent location. Highly recommend.
