Worth every penny

I loved my stay in the hotel! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and I loved the design! Bed is really comfy and it's REALLY quiet in the room (plus the blackout curtains!). Me and my friends also liked the breakfast and the views from the windows. Staff is super friendly and helpful!

Nice hotel in beautiful location

Large room, good breakfast (buffet plus choice of cooked egg dish) no TV, old well maintained building, nice relaxing areas on the 1st floor, free outside parking, lovely walks from the hotel, fab views from our room. Friendly staff facilitated our late arrival

Erholsame Tage im wunderschönen Engadin mit angenehmem Aufenthalt im Maloja Kulm.

Die Lage des Hotel ist ein super Ausgangspunkt für Langlauf, Schneeschuhtouren, Winterspaziergänge, etc. Das Personal, insb. vom Housekeeping war sehr freundlich.

Eine Gästefamilie, die zur gleichen Zeit im Hotel war, benahm sich etwas auffällig. Die Kinder liefen barfuss und im Pyjama im Hotel und Speisesaal herum, bei den Eltern war man ebenfalls unsicher, ob sie zum Morgenessen direkt aus dem Bett kamen, ohne sich frisch zu machen. Dies war etwas unangenehm und immer so an der Grenze, ob man als Gast diese Personen ansprechen soll oder nicht.

posizione, struttura storica, rapporto qualità/prezzo, pulizia, materassi confortevoli, bagno nuovo, acqua di cortesia, gentilezza del personale uniche note negative, che scrivo qui perché sono soggettive, la colazione, migliorabile per scelta, e la camera, pur bellissima, venduta come suite con due camere da letto, una matrimoniale ed una singola: effettivamente le camere sono separate da una porta, ma la porta d'ingresso dall'esterno è nella camera matrimoniale, quindi per raggiungere la singola bisogna passarci, ed il bagno è raggiungibile solo attraverso la camera singola, che in realtà è più che altro un corridoio, quindi non il massimo in caso di poca confidenza fra gli ospiti delle due camere

Wir lieben die Ruhe in Maloja und freuen uns, dass es nun wieder ein Hotel gibt, in dem wir uns sehr wohl fühlen. Ein junges, engagiertes und sehr freundliches Team, welches auf die Bedürfnisse von uns Eltern und die unserer Söhne (17&14) eingegangen sind. Die schlichte Schönheit des historischen Gebäudes ist bis auf wenige Details angemessen bewahrt. Feiner Biotee aus der Region zur eigenen Zubereitung im Zimmer. Sehr angenehm ist die Sauna und der Ruheraum mit Dachbalken und wunderbarer Aussicht. Feines regionales Essen, insbesondere das Zanderfilet ist eine absolute Empfehlung - da versteht mal Jemand etwas von der Zubereitung von Fisch! Frisch zubereitete Eierspezialitäten zum Frühstück, vielen Dank!

sehr enttäuschend , war einmal sehr anders

Die Lage - zwar am Beginn der Passstraße nach Italien gelegen, entsprechend tagsüber Verkehr , aber man hat rundherum eine unvergleichliche Sicht und ein phantastisches Panorama…

Dieses beeindruckende alte Gebäude , mit noch vor einiger Zeit sehr gutem Standard zu vernünftigen Preisen,hat jetzt leider den Charakter eines Billig- Hostels angenommen… Die Qualität/Angebot des Frühstücks ist für schweizer Verhältnisse wirklich sehr traurig… Das fängt bei pappigen Discounter Croissants , einer Sorte Brot ,und einer einzigen Sorte Päckchen- Marmelade an und endet mit schlechtem , bohnensparendem Kaffee und farbigen zuckrigen Flüssigkeiten, die man als Säfte bezeichnet… natürlich kann man satt werden, nur die Frage womit ..

Eine Auszeit unter dem Sternenhimmel

Das Hotel wurde mit sehr viel Liebe und einem gekonnten Mix aus Tradition und modernen Annehmlichkeiten renoviert. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Obwohl das Hotel direkt an der Strasse liegt, war es sehr ruhig. In der Nacht lohnt sich der Blick in den Sternenhimmel, wir haben noch nie so viele Sterne gesehen! Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen, die Auswahl ist zwar nicht übermässig gross, hat uns jedoch vollkommen ausgereicht. Warme Eierspeisen werden auf Wunsch serviert.

Das Doppelbett war für unser Empfinden zu schmal und die Matratzen viel zu hart.

E' un hotel storico, in cui andavo molti anni fa, poi è stato chiuso a lungo e ora, rinnovato, ha ancora il fascino iniziale. gentilezza e professionalità di tutto il personale, si sono anche adoperati per spedirmi un oggetto dimenticato in camera. Buona colazione dolce salata, la mezza pensione va benissimo, con una buona scelta e una certa raffinatezza nelle preparazionii e nel servizio. Noi abbiamo sempre cenato lì. Camera ampia e bagno ben organizzato

Attraktives Hotel ausserhalb des Rummels

Das Hotel liegt etwas ausserhalb von Maloja, ist aber alles zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Wandergebiet wunderschön. Die Einrichtungen im Hotel sind sehr schön und relativ neu. Parkplätze hat es genügend vorhanden. Frühstück ist passend. Wir konnten auch unsere Motorradkleider nach dem Auschecken deponieren, um eine kleine Wanderung vorzunehmen. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nachts konnte das Fenster offen gelassen werden, es war sehr ruhig. Aber ab 6 Uhr kam der Verkehr.

Das Zimmer war von der Grösse gut, das Bad/Dusche jedoch sehr klein. Die Betten eher klein und hart. Das Kopfkissen war mehr ein Brett als Kissen. Deshalb habe ich nicht gut geschlafen. Das kann aber auch an meiner Grösse liegen (194cm).

Das Hotel hat den Pächter gewechselt, vor 3 - 4 Wochen. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und die Lage spektakulär ! Feines Frühstück, jedoch nur eine Kaffeemaschine. Grosse Warteschlange beim Kaffee. Der Kaffee aus dem Automaten hat mir nicht geschmeckt. Dieses Detail sollte man verbessern. Die Crew steht am Anfang und verdient eine Chance !!!!

Guter Aufenthalt in einem Kulturgut mit zuvorkommendem Personal.

Sehr bedienstetes Personal, allerdings wenig aufmerksam, speziell im Service. Lage des Hauses ist toll. Umgebung interessant im Hochgebirge.

Bei der Preislage würden wir auch im Detail mehr aufmerksamkeit erwarten (als Hotelgast musste man die Hotelgastkarte im Restaurant verlangen, alle Unterlagen im Hotel nur in englisch-weder deitsch noch italienisch, beim Morgenbuffet gibt es Lücken, anderseits eine Beige harte Eier - nicht frisch usw., Passwort für Internetzugang nur über freie Daten abrufbar. Es sind Details, aber dies erwarten wir als Gast.
