Magnificent location. Friendly hosts. Accessible room spacious, well furnished, with small sitting out area. Delicious breakfasts, in particular 'full English'.

Location amazing! And Helen is brilliant!
Room was noisy just from upstairs but nothing that could be helped, it's just a beautiful old building.

Everything about Sandhills is excellent! The rooms was immaculate, breakfast was delicious, the location was peaceful and beautiful., and Helen our host was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful! The walk from Sandhills to Bassenthwaite lake and the church there was lovely!
