Really nice cozy traditional feel, lovely staff, and great room with nice facilities.
Nothing to do with the actual property, but for the location, highly recommend having a car / private mode of transport available. The local bus is fine, but limited and can involve walking along main roads

Beautiful location. Staff were lovely and super helpful. Loved everything about our stay and would definitely book again. We were four people amd travelled without a car. Caught the bus from Kiso Fukushima for ¥200 for 50 minute trip. Nice walks from the property although a car might give more flexibility.
We liked everything.
