Very handy to where other family members were staying with relatives

Size of room was great. clean and tidy. Had everything I needed.

Thursday night was disruptive with constant movement upstairs for an hour and half and then again around 10pm. Friday night there was a dog whimpering for quite sometime which was very annoying when trying to sleep! Saturday night I wasn’t there and Sunday was pretty much the same as Thursday. TV kept cutting out of TVNZ + which I’m not sure why!

I loved the friendly welcome, that I asked for cables to recharge my Mac and my phone, that there was no problem with lending these to me, and that I was trusted to leave them there when I left. I especially loved the shower, the best I've had since I arrived in NZ. I loved the overall luxury. I loved how easy the hosts were to deal with, friendly, hospitable.

Even knowing the basement situation, I would still book here again. We LOVE the neighborhood too!

The location was ideal because it is close to our friends who live in the same area. The kitchen and bathrooms were good and having the washer dryer was helpful (the eco-friendly dryer is pretty worthless so just hang the clothes outside. ). The owners are very unobtrusive and we had everything we needed.

The only thing that others should know is that it is the basement of a private home so noise from above transmits easily through the floors like people walking, vacuuming, etc. Also, if someone above gets up very early to leave for work on a motorcycle or car, it might wake you up. It is not the most private of accommodations.

Lovely clean accommodation and hosts, everything you need for a five star stay

Spacious, tidy, clean, well appointed, super comfy bed, full facilities for anything you might need for a relaxing stay. Great communication from hosts. Easy to find. My only regret is that it was for a short work trip, so arrived late and departed early and didn’t get to spend more time there. Would definitely book again.

Upstairs (or adjacent unit?) are early risers.. was not a problem for me at all but would recommend ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper and want to sleep in

Very clean, well appointed and well equipped. Safe and secure. Only 10 minutes to Grace Hospital.

As the apartment is in the basement, the noise of people and animals moving around above was a bit disconcerting, but only for short time in the evening and 6 am in the morning.

It exceeded our expectations! Communication from hosts was clear and warm. The property was immaculate and the hosts were very generous in providing refreshments and toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc). All bed and bath linen was pristine. We were made to feel welcome with complete privacy. Fantastic value for money.

There was no toaster, but who knew you could toast crumpets in an air fryer! LOL. The floors looked clean but were quite sticky, which felt a bit yucky when barefoot. May have just been the cleaning product used. :)

Beautiful!!

All of the above with much understanding and efficient responses. My sister came to stay (last minute) and I informed them immediately. Although they didn't recommend it (Only had 3 beds and a couch), they allowed it -with extra cost of course which I was happy to pay, given the excellent facilities/amenities available for us to use. I just wish we stayed longer given the outdoor bbq-type area we would have enjoyed using. Loved the privacy of it all!!

Hermoso y tranquilo

El patio y el jardín, muy bonito y amplio. La limpieza era impecable. El suelo del apartamento estaba muy bueno. Era muy completo. Tenía lavadora secadora y lavavajillas. También tenía airfryer y microondas. Secador de pelo, plancha de ropa y de pelo. Phil es muy amable. El sitio es acogedor, tranquilo y agradable. Vale la pena la estadía. A 100m había una mini playa en una bahía del mar.

Que la nevera estaba lejos de la cocina. Las almohadas eran muy altas e incómodas al cuello. El colchón no era cómodo. Había varios perritos en la planta de arriba y caminaban de aquí para allá y se escuchaban los pasitos bastante. No hay parking en la propiedad, sí hay parking gratuito en la calle. No hay kitchenette.
