Great location if you want a quiet getaway. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Close to a huge variety of bushwalks and only half an hour from Te Awamutu for various activities. Definitely recommend.

This amazing rental is such a peaceful and private place to stay. We loved that it was off the beaten track and in such a beautiful surrounding. The accommodations had everything we needed. And the hosts, Brian and Val, were so kind and friendly. They gave us privacy, but were available to ask any question. We even enjoyed a short evening visit with tea and crackers with them. We had three adults in our party, and we loved everything about this rental. If you're looking for something special out in the countryside, we highly recommend this place!

There is much beauty, quiet and comfort in this country setting. The cottage was equipped with necessities and much more. There were comfortable beds and furniture, very nice linens, everything needed to prepare full meals in this spacious cottage, great shower etc. We enjoyed hearing the birds and seeing the pretty and numerous rabbits. Fresh hen eggs were a wonderful and tasty bonus! The best part was definitely our hosts, Valerie and Brian, who were welcoming, warm, friendly, and hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting and learning about these lovely folks. Also, we enjoyed exploring the surrounding area.
