Mayiki Boutique Hotel

Absolutely gorgeous boutique little hotel. An oasis outside of the hustle & bustle of Ulu’s. Staff were so welcoming and happy to help in any way. Nothing was too much trouble and they made great oat milk coffee. Rooms were very clean & spacious with very comfortable beds with quality linen. Great communal kitchen and rooftop lounge to chill in. Pool was sparkling clean, so peaceful to chill around and never felt busy. Was a beautiful place to relax and reset with great calm vibes and greenery 🌴 Loved my solo stay here and would highly recommend 💫

Location was a little far from cafes, restaurants and Uluwatu/Bingin area (around 15 mins on a motorbike at busy times). Grab drivers had no trouble finding it though. Entrance road was unpaved and not well lit. Hard to walk anywhere close except Nyang Nyang beach. There is a wonderful cafe next door (Mesa play) and Indian restaurant a few mins but that’s really it within walking distance so just be aware of that.

The hotel is beautifully designed, with lovely decor and thoughtful details throughout. The swimming pool was amazing and the staff were always friendly and welcoming, doing their best to help whenever we needed anything.

I felt the overall value for money was disappointing. There was no coffee or fridge in the room, although the staff kindly offered to help whenever we wanted some and breakfast was quite expensive. The location was also a little tricky to find, tucked away on a small street, and even our taxi driver got a bit lost at night. Perhaps we were also a little unlucky, as there was construction work happening right in the surrounding area, which made mornings less enjoyable. The issue isn’t the hotel itself, but rather the value for money.

The accommodation itself is beautiful, the villas are stunning, and the staff is very kind.

It would be good to have a small fridge in the rooms. Also, there is a massive construction project underway on the neighboring plot—which, of course, isn't the owners' fault, though it is worth noting—and there is a padel court right next door where people shout until late at night, and you can hear everything. Because of this, you can only relax during the day if you wear headphones. Furthermore, while it is true that the place is only 300 meters away [from the water], no one mentions that you have to go down 600 steep steps to reach the shore, and not everyone necessarily has the stamina for that. The accommodation is far from the town, so you definitely need a way to get there, though this is easily managed.

The environment is very pretty and clean.

There were no hot water in the shower and many mosquitoes.
