Stayed 1 night to tour D-Day memorials nearby. Charming area, large clean room, quiet surroundings.

Location to US Cemetery.

We honestly can give you any opinion on the rooms/facilities etc because the Owners failed to check us in, did not return our call/messages until 11.00PM We had Cycled to the property and arrived exhausted at our pre arranged check-in time of 18:00. After countless phone calls to customer Landline, messages via booking.com and finally a number of frantic calls to Booking.com we had to give up. The Property is fairly isolated, no nearby hotels or restaurants (the On site restaurant is primarily to serve visitors to the Cemetery and is therefore closed after 5.00PM). Our booking was during the D-Day week and absolutely no other reasonable properties were available within cycling distance. At 19.45 and with assurances the Booking.com would refund us, we had to double back on ourselves and rent/share the only room within cycling distance (some 10K back in the opposite direction we came from) at Golf/Spa hotel at a cost of 850 Euro for the 1 room for 1 night!. Sadly we were not there long enough to benefit from the Spa and Golf facilities. I honestly don't know what we would have done had we not found this hotel, other than perhaps hiring a couple of taxis to take us and our bikes to a bigger town/city.

I liked the size of the room (big) and the fact there was a heater that worked. The bed was comfortable, and it was very quiet. It's very near the American Cemetery. It's a great location at a great price, if you're driving a car. Good water pressure in the shower.

The place has no reception and is not really a hotel. Once you find the property, it's really confusing where to go and how to get in. We were fortunate that another couple was staying there and kindly called the people they'd contacted in order to get in, and were told which cabin we were in and what the key code was. The shower drain was VERY SLOW. There is nowhere nearby to go for food. We were on bicycles, so that was an issue. We rode into St. Laurent to get dinner, then rode to Port en Bessin for breakfast.
