Nice quiet. All round good experience

Great location, very friendly staff. Nice room Dinner was very nice. Self service starters was a new one on me but it worked really well especially as my French is not great so it meant I didn’t order wrong food. Definitely stay again

The warm welcome from Apoulena. The Hotel was easy to find and plenty of spaces. The Evening meal was very nice and exceptional value Bedrooms spacious and comfortable beds and pillows. Lovely person looking after us at breakfast and check out.

The aircon did not seem to deal with the extremes of heat and it was a little uncomfortable at times.

Enjoyable stay

Quiet location. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The restaurant was closed but the receptionist helped us order takeaway food to be delivered to the hotel. She was amazing. Our bikes were also stored safely.

This hotel is at a convenient stopping off point for travelling onward from Cherbourg.

Staff at breakfast didn't pay us any attention and were very sluggish - communal coffee jug stayed empty for a very long time!

We had a great stay here. Its more of a motel and not so central but the staff were really lovely.

Staff super friendly and helpful. The lady in charge, Stephanie i think, organised her husband who left us to a really nice restaurant and gave us the number of a taxi to return to the hotel.

Spacious and clean room, calm area, professional staff, fairly good restaurant.

I had issues with the wifi on my laptop (was ok on my phone), it could be a problem of my laptop but the speed and stability was an issue even on my phone. Also if you travel on foot and not by a car the location isn't the greatest as it's at the edge of the city so you have some walking to do (or catch a bus) if you want to visit the city center or catch a train somewhere etc. But overall it is a good accommodation for shorter stays.

Spotlessly clean hotel

The room was tiny but spotless with a large comfortable bed. Reception was welcoming, public areas well decorated & with tableau of WW2 soldiers. Parking was plentiful & safe.

We were disappointed to find the well presented dining room was closed - on Saturday night too - as it was a main reason for choosing that hotel. We would have appreciated 1 English language TV channel. we
