The breakfast was very basic.

We had a premium room that was lovely and clean. We were only there to tie up the Selling off our house but would definitely stay again as our room was not budget in anyway or form

The two receptionist who were lovely were sitting outside the front door untill gone midnight with another older lady and man with a young child kicking a football around the carpark and talking loud which meant we had to shut our windows on a very hot night to stop the noise which I feel was unexceptional by staff members

Breakfast was perfect. This hotel not only offers a good variety of food and beverages. It sets a good example how to include sustainability at a hotel. Food that needed to be wrapped up for hygienic reasons had been wrapped up, others not. Cleverly solved! The breakfast area was clean and tidy and a nice place to stay.

Unfortunately, there have been issues: - Security: We stayed in a room on the ground floor. As there was no air-conditioning in the room, it was necessary to open the window at night. This window was easily accessible from the outside, no security measure (like bars, shutters, etc.) here. One night we returned late. All doors at the entrance have been open with no-one around. So everyone could get right to the door of the room. - Cleanliness of the room: The toilet (in a separate room without windows, without sink and with poor ventilation) was smelly, the shower had not been cleaned properly and we found some hair on the blanket (discovered by chance some more UNDER it at the last day). Addressing this issue to the manager during our check-out turned out to be difficult, for she just pointed out that we should have addressed this earlier. A “Sorry” and “I address this to our staff” seemed to be sufficient from her point of view. Asking for some kind of compensation, the friendliness we experienced until this moment turned into a polite reluctance and some hard bargaining. The result was neither adequate nor satisfying. - In the bathroom there have been only one bar and one hook for towels. 1 or 2 additional hooks would have been most welcome. As this room was booked for two persons, the “towel management” was a little difficult. All in all, you can stay at this place, but from our point of view this hotel only earned its three stars when it comes to the marvelous breakfast it is offering. There is some potential for improvement.

Location was fine and easy to find. On an industrial estate, but there are plenty of eating places, from a Grill and Italian to McDonalds. It was opposite a very large fire station, but we heard nothing all night. Our room faced the station. The room was dark BUT fresh and clean - looked recently refurbished. Parking was safe and secure.

No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Nothing else was wrong. A niggly thing and just me - toilet was in a separate room to the shower and sink.

Breakfast was a self service bar and well stocked and tasty
