Great flat in a great location
The flat is in a great location, easy to get to and parking was easy. For the most part it is very good, clean and modern and well decorated. Some really nice touches like tea coffee and milk and washing up liquid supplied and some breakfast snacks. Bath towels for everyone and hand soap and shampoo body wash all supplied too. The kitchen has all the cutlery and plates you need for 4 people and the flat is spacious and light. Check in info was easy to follow.
There were a few details that let it down a little. Only one hand towel is not really sufficient for 4 adults. There was no dish washing cloth or dish towel in the kitchen (we had to buy these as washing up was not really possible without them) 2 of the heaters didn't work which wasn't a major problem as the weather was mild but the living room did get a little chilly in the evening.

Great 2 nights and fab base to see the area from.
Very spacious apartment in a great central location in Nairn. Newly refurbished so all equipment worked well and there was plenty of storage for our clothes and hangers and wall hooks. Decoration in the flat was very pleasant. Welcome pack was a nice touch. Parking outside the apartment is great too, once you find out how to get into the street, as one end is closed to traffic but my sat nav, at least, did not know this!
The apartment comfortably sleeps 4 but only has a two person sofa in the living area, and bar stools for two. Also lacking in kitchen utensils and cookware compared to other apartments we have stayed in. (We ate out so not really a problem). One hand towel for 4 people for 2 days, really isn't enough, although there were 4 bath towels. Unpleasant smell in the toilet and no cleaning products, so we had to purchase bleach to try to deal with this.

Terrible, it was double booked and we had to find alternative accomodation 20 minutes drive away
I booked and paid for this confirmed accommodation for my mother, and we had been communicating regularly. However, upon their arrival, I received no key codes, directions, or any form of communication regarding check-in. My mother, who travelled especially from Ireland to Nairn to meet family and friends, was left stranded and unable to access the property. We even had to knock on neighbours' doors in desperation to see if anyone could help. The number i tried to call several times was going straight to voicemail.
I later received a contact number for the "company"from somebody that was actually staying in the accommodation. I was then informed that the property had been double-booked. The only alternative accommodation available accommodation was over 20 minutes drive away in Forres, which entirely defeated the purpose of the original booking. The main reason for selecting Nairn was to be within walking distance of local events, family, and friends during the Nairn Games Weekend.
This situation has caused significant distress, disrupted plans, and financial pressures and resulted in considerable disappointment. I am now awaiting a prompt resolution and compensation for the inconvenience and the impact this has had on our plans. My mother was isolated in forress for the weekend, and we had to cancel many plans. Had i not physically been there knocking on doors phoning people and looking for phone numbers, Im not sure what we would have done. I have not had any apology or compensation.

Our stay was okay.
The rooms are clean en you have lots of space. The shower and the welcomes package with food is superb.
You have to park your car nearby and not in the resendential area. The rooms are very noisy, you can hear the neighbours above you, when you have the appartement below.

What could be a fantastic flat is spoiled by silly aggravations.
The flat is in a perfect location to walk to the seafront and to the main shopping area. Bedrooms were roomy and everything very new and modern.
The approach to the flat is very grim. Steep, narrow-treaded steps to the front door, covered in mess and debris which had obviously been there for some time. Front door old and bearing obvious signs of a forced entry (although painted over). I was given the wrong entry code for the door so there were some shenanigans before being able to gain entry. Not enough comfortable seating in the flat - there is only a 2-seater sofa. Shower tray is too short for the shower area so it floods onto the floor (there is a mop available, but no bucket to rinse it in). Duvet cover not big enough for the duvet so there is bare duvet on the bed (not very hygienic). No wine glasses in the kitchen. Draining rack the wrong size for the drainer board.

Günstig gelegene Ferienwohnung in Nairn
Gut gelegene Ferienwohnung (zu Fuß in die Stadt zum Einkaufen oder Essen und genau so schnell am Strand) mit großen Zimmern. Wir hatten die obere der beiden Wohnungen. Die Außentreppe nach oben ein Spaß für die Kinder.
Das Waschbecken im Bad war winzig und leider nur zwei Stühle am Tisch in der Wohnküche - bei vier Personen mussten so zwei bei jeder Mahlzeit stehen.
