Harbour and River View, Beach 50m from doorstep & free parking

location was good. views from property very good. good internal space for comfortable stay

poor entrance. walkway route to harbour past extraction fan from café kitchen. tv reception was poor with pixilated screen. no spare toilet rolls.

wonderful location. Fantastic views from property. Everything we need nearby. Very comfortable. Seating on balcony overlooking harbour exceptional. Beautiful beaches and surrounding areas. Would definitely come again and recommend I came with Amanda and full would add that Nairn has a lovely feel to it. Fishertown is just behind the apartment – an area of old fisherman’s cottages with narrow streets. There is lots of opportunity to walk along the ‘front’ and especially good for children, lots of green space between the town and the beach which for me gives Nairn very much its’ own unique character. There is a chance of seeing dolphins but seek local knowledge about tides etc., Start and finish your day sitting on the balcony overlooking the harbour and the Cromarty Firth just beyond - bliss. Karen was particularly helpful in speedily sending me the camera I left and with suggestions. The Sundancer restaurant (50m) has window seating with great views and great seafood linguini. Basils literally below the apartment, does wonderful biscoff ice cream and very tasty carrot cake. James near the putting green is also a magnet for lovers of home made ice cream. Nice little touch - the complementary biscuits although left the wine as ate too much ice cream! (Stuart)

Stairs a bit difficult

We loved this apartment. it is well presented, well equipped, clean, bright and comfortable, with amazing views from every window. it is an excellent base for walks around the harbour or along the sea front, as well as for exploring further afield.

Unique 180 degree rounded corner viewing of River Nairn, Nairn Harbour and the Cromarty Firth, a photographers dream. Comfy seating & sleeping. Great interior design.

Outside steps & stairs to property not ideal for elderly with dodgy knees....but not enough to spoil the overall experience.

The views of harbour, sea and river. The apartment was very comfortable and warm.

Very well equipped in an excellent location. Karen helped us out with a couple of things- there was no iron and she provided straight away. Likewise with instructions for the TV. We have already booked again for next year.

location fantastic.

the key security wasn’t visible in the dark. the house number is in black and not visible from downstairs. the key box wasn’t easily opened and after a long journey was disappointed the struggle to find and open the outside door. the water in the shower was very slow to drain and could have flooded very easily.

View was superb. Free parking outside property. Plenty of good places to eat out. Highly recommend Ozzy's on the High Street and Sun Dancer at the harbour. Food and decor in both excellent.

The amount of space on the balcony was extremely limited. You would have to be tall to see over the wired balcony when seated on it. In a standing position the view was fabulous. Again, the wire caging around the balcony spoiled the view when inside the property looking out in a seated position.

Location great, right at side of harbour. Really very nice sitting/dining room, clean and comfortable quality seating, with views from the 4 windows/doors. Bedrooms good size with very comfortable beds. Ensuite and separate shower rooms good. Easy parking at rear

Being over 70, the 2 sets of steps, first external, then internal, were not ideal for moving luggage, etc. (However they wouldn't have bothered us 5 years ago!)

lockbox hard to access.

The apartment was lovely, comfortable and clean with spectacular views. As a suggestion I would recommend a shower caddy as nowhere to put shampoo ect, but this was only a slight niggle. If you're not very mobile I would recommend a car as the closest bus stop is a 15 min walk and the train station is on the other side of town. Loved it and will definitely be back.

Breakfast was not included. The view is great and it’s a short pleasant walk along the river to the centre.

The apartment is beautiful and clean and has everything you could need for self-catering. The location is outstanding, the views are amazing.

Location, comfortable bed

First we really appreciated the clear and helpful communication with the owner. We loved the location right on the harbour . Facilities were all first class . Comfy beds and lovely bathrooms . We enjoyed local restaurants and walks in the area. We would certainly return .

There was nothing we didn’t like but might suggest a couple of very minor additions - a non-slip bath mat , an ice cube tray and possibly a lamp in the living room . These are very minor points and in no way detract from this fab flat .

Loved the apartment, the location and the stunning views over the harbour . Apartment was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed , would highly recommend staying at Harbour View !

Nothing we did nt like

Lovely views over the harbour from the small balcony. The two bedrooms were opposite sides of the flat, so nice and quiet. Kitchen was well stocked, catered to all our needs. Living room furniture was comfortable and I liked the dining table. From the door it is a short walk to two sandy beaches, the town centre, several take aways. Best of all were the sunsets.

Outside entrance, unfortunately is up the stairs behind the bins - a bit difficult to find. We were made aware of the stairs and they were not an issue, as they are well sized and not difficult to navigate.

Das Apartment ist total gut gelegen,ausgestattet mit Allem was man braucht UND NOCH VIEL MEHR.Es sind keine Wünsche offen geblieben.Bars und Restaurants sind fußläufig gut erreichbar.Supermarkt auch...einfach toll.

Es hat uns Allen sehr gut gefallen.
