Quiet and peaceful

Near the sea, large kitchen, decent living room

Small double bed. There is room for a queen and it would be money well spent. They ask you to strip the bed when paying 137 pounds a night yet the heat was off and the cottage was cold even though they knew our arrival time. Knowing the owner is going to argue every point of my review.

Gorgeous characterful cottage by the sea

Loved the location and the character of the cottage. After coming to Nairn for many years staying in Fishertown was a new experience for us and the cottage did not let us down! It was immaculate and the children loved the ‘reading shelf’ and the access to the beach. It had everything that we needed and we will definitely be back!

The cottage is super cute and we reached the sandy beach and the sea within 5 minutes walk. There is also a restaurant & bar at the beach. The cottage offers almost everything you need.

Ideal location for a stay in Nairn

Fabulous Location , close to beach and easy walk into the high Street . Would have like to spend longer there as such a good base . We where travelling further on so only one night stay. Lovely well equipped cottage

A very peaceful stay.

Beautiful cottage in Fishertown. Warm, clean, bright and airy. Private garden and parking. Very quiet area and a stones throw from a beautiful clean beach. Every where is dog friendly too.

Silly things really which stopped me from giving it a 10. A few dishes with chips in, frying pan and roasting trays need replacing, only 1 egg cup and no shelf in the shower and having a bad back I found this awkward having to reach down for soap. The mind your head sign above the small bedroom door could be hung on the door, my silly husband hit his head a few times.

Good location for the beach Spacious rooms Really quiet

Information not sent in advance so we didn’t know the location of the cottage, how to get into it, the parking, etc. Joyce was able to share over the phone but make sure you have all of that in advance. Welcome pack had limited information, instead of a simple step by step guide for the heating you need to find and then read the manufacturer guide. Asked to strip the beds, that wasn’t mentioned in the description or in recent reviews so be aware of that.

Beautifully clean cottage minutes from the beach

Perfectly situated cottage with parking that was great base for us before the Coast to Coast Race which started just around the corner. The beautiful beach was literally minutes away, as were some great cafes and coffee shops.

The cottage is cosy & comfortable ideally situated close to the beach & centre of Nairn we have stayed at the cottage on several visits to Nairn & will return again, fort george & Loch Ness are a short drive Joyce is friendly & helpful should you need anything

Great stay, love having a whole house. Quiet location, no traffic.

Location is great, 2 mins walk to beach. A couple more minutes into town. Off street parking was essential as Society Street is exceptionally narrow! Lots of downstairs space too.

Maybe a fan? Being an old stone built cottage it holds the heat really well lol! The low ceilings are well sign posted, but really tall folks may struggle a wee bit.

Lovely place, with everything you would require to make your holiday comfortable. Location perfect - just a short walk from the beach. Joyce was very responsive to emails and queries.

Nothing! My husband & 2 teenage boys are very tall, so they had to be cautious of the lower than usual doorframes. Not a problem if you are average height 😀

spotless cottage with beautiful quick walk to beach and restaurants

Location is great - tricky to find but worth it - such an easy walk to the beach and to restaurants The cottage is very well equipper , new kettle spotless kitchen appliances and great bathroom!!!

Double bed is small and so is the ground floor room and bed - the twin beds are good not an issue for many but we are quite a tall family so lots of feet poking over the edges!!! but certainly not an issue overall the cottage is delightful
