Lovely cosy traditional cottage, yet with plenty of space, loved all the original features. Excellent location, walking distance to everywhere . Reasonable price.
Not enough mugs, had to rewash them every single time you wanted a hot drink. No welcome pack, not even basics such as spare bin bags, tin foil or olive oil. Towels need replacing, like sandpaper. And the single bed in twin room plays a tune every time you move on it, very squeaky.
Happy to pay a dog fee, however this is very unclear on the listing, owner not impressed when they saw we had a dog and was wanting paid immediately.
We run a bed and breakfast on the west coast of the Highlands and wouldn't dream of charging our guests for the use of a highchair or travelcot.

Good location for the beach

Information not sent in advance so we didn’t know the location of the cottage, how to get into it, the parking, etc. Joyce was able to share over the phone but make sure you have all of that in advance.
Welcome pack had limited information, instead of a simple step by step guide for the heating you need to find and then read the manufacturer guide.
Asked to strip the beds, that wasn’t mentioned in the description or in recent reviews so be aware of that.
