Quaint historical location and very near beach. Hosts very kindly left coffee and are great communicators. Cottage was very cosy and comfy! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Stairs very narrow so not so good for very old, infirm or toddlers. Front bedroom large and lovely, back one very small but fine. Bit of a plumbing niff in bathroom at times.

The communication from the property owners was exceptional from start to finish. The best I have ever had. The cottage was cosy and well equipped with a super log burner for winter nights. Lovely smell to the house and beds were very comfy. It was very very clean. Fabulous location close to the beach which was ideal for the pup to have a good run around. We were very appreciative of an early check in and a later check out. Thank you. Pearl and mark and Rhudy xx

Seaforth cottage was a very small but very cosy little cottage. In a beautiful and quaint seaside town with stunning views and big grassy hills to roll down. You can see the appeal with its gentle landscapes and delicious seafood restaurants. Nairn has a good train service to Inverness and Aberdeen.
The cottage itself was clean and nicely prepared with tea & coffee, fluffy towels, washing facilities and a modern television. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils.
We loved the shower and cute, thoughtful, decorations. The cottage is adorned with books, games and information on local attractions. The location is very quiet and calming. We absolutely loved building sand castles the beach and harbour. The drive between Nairn and Aviemore is gorgeous with its natural landscapes and woolly sheep free roaming the plains.
We enjoyed the calm. Dog friendly.
In all honesty, Nairn needs some TLC as half the stores were shops had shut down or rusting. It's sad to see such a sweet town so run down. Presumably hit hard by the pandemic and recession.
As for the cottage, My only real issue would be the carpets and parking.
The double bedroom and stairs had fraying carpets that our young child kept slipping on and the lounge carpet had some marks on it. A few items of furniture needed some repairing, like the patio cupboard, patio table and TV stand. The kitchen table was too small to fit two adults and one child around so we sat at the coffee table to eat and drink.
The lack of parking space at the cottage was annoying, especially when carrying shopping from the car.

Location was perfect:-). Everything we could ask for in the kitchen.
Stairs were a bit steep for our dogs (our old man is 14).

Place was clean, comfortable, well located, everything worked first time. Less than 5 mins to the beach, and 1 min to the high street.
The seagulls can be noisy!

Location! A 5 minute walk (with a toddler walking) and we were right on the sand at the beach. Very close to shops, on a nice quiet street with friendly neighbours. Very little traffic- only cars of people who lived in the street passed sometimes
Convenient car parking - a minute walk away
Table and chairs on the terrace out the front- got the sun at this spot until late in the day/evening. Bucket and spades in the shed- our son loved these, and loved looking at the shells around the decking. This was a nice touch
The owner Bec was very helpful before our stay & gave us recommendations about where to go, where to park etc

The cottage was very cosy, great log fire, master bedroom was large shame about second bedroom it was small with twin beds which was fine if you had 2 children but unfortunately it did not suit 2 adults, stairs were very steep. Overall it would be fine for family with 2 older children. Very near harbour, beach, shops, restaurants and bars.
Steep stairs, second bedroom.

Comfortable , stylish and clean. Great local restaurants, (Golf View and Sundancer). Gorgeous beach 5 mins away.
Walk along East beach superb.
We were worried as had no contact number for the hosts until we asked. A file of local information and a few more logs for the fire and would have been good. Also instructions for the hob seemed to be missing. All good apart from this.

Excellent location for the town and the beach. Cottage was very well laid out and a home from home. Fully equipped kitchen, with utensils and basic food supplies like tea, coffee, salt pepper etc and even some tins and cereals available. Very thoughtful touch. Beds very comfortable too Communication from the owner was excellent all the way through. Would highly recommend this cottage for a stay.
No parking at the property but a parking space is available in the next street which is about 1 minutes walk away, so it wasn't an issue for us at all, so no dislikes about this booking.
