Absolutely stunning apartment with even better views of the ocean! Two rooms: one spacious air conditioned bedroom, and one breeze-only common room. Probably more suited for an "eat all meals out" type of stay as there were no cooking utensils, spatula, whisk, etc., to turn an egg and no table/chairs or bar to sit at to eat. Walking to the gorgeous beach is just a few minutes, but be prepared to navigate a bit of a steep Hawaiian hill and a few flights of stairs on the return. For safety, bring a flashlight as we had a little tumble on the dark pathway from the driveway down to the rental which is accessed at the back/lower level of the house. Sitting out on the lanai with coffee as the sun comes up is absolutely breathtaking! We were a party of 3, and while there is a comfortable pull out cot in the common area for the third person, you will not be able to open it there because there is a gorgeous but heavy glass and stone coffee table in the way. No matter how we tried to rearrange the table, you could not open the cot. You will need to lift/carry it into the larger bedroom for use if you are more than 2 people. All in all, a stunningly beautiful private and quiet stay. It is possible that this is a brand new rental since there were other renovations going on while we were there - so pathway lighting and a spatula may have been added by now. Beautiful property!

My husband & I have been to Hawaii several times as we have a son & his family here, so we try to come at least 1-2 times a year and this has been by far the very best place we have stayed at on the island. You are literally about a 5 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in Lanikai and the view is spectacular as the porch deck faces the east so you can see the beautiful sunrise and ocean. The owner is so hospitable and gracious! We plan on coming back & staying here when we come back to Hawaii!
