Located on a quiet beach lane, our villa offers a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the best of Kailua. Just a one-minute walk to the best stretch of Kailua Beach, where soft sand, turquoise water, and gentle waves invite you to swim, snorkel, or paddle a kayak.
When you're not at the beach, you can use the shared pool or soak in the hot tub, both surrounded by gardens. Inside, the villa has air conditioning and free WiFi, plus essentials like a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. To help you enjoy the outdoors, we provide beach gear including bikes, boogie boards, coolers, chairs, mats, and towels. A shared washer and dryer with laundry supplies is available if needed, along with a gas BBQ for outdoor cooking. The unit also has two private bathrooms, one inside and another by the pool.

Everything was excellent. Beds were comfy and nice to have parking. Being able to walk to the beach and not have to look for parking was so nice.

We did not stay here after checking in.
The good: super responsive host and beautiful pool.
The unexpected: property was hard to find and exteriors were unkempt. Turns out there appear to be many people living on site and it shows. We did not find the property inviting or welcoming. My wife did not feel safe here.
The bad: listing photos are way out of date- all furnishings are tired and need deep cleaning. The unit had been wiped down but everything about the unit itself showed wear and tear of many visitors- lots of ew factors on the cushions and floor, the unit smelled heavily of mold, shower curtain moldy, windows not cleaned and more. Cumulatively it was too much.
The really unexpected: the host disagreed with us and wanted to clean the unit up. However, there were too many items needing attention, for which a remedy would be disruptive to our five-day stay. We immediately brought this to the owner and VRBO attention and informed both that we would not stay there and they could release it for someone else if they chose. The host told us they could not issue any refund because the unit was booked throughout our stay.
Adding to the dilemma: After two days of fruitless negotiating with VRBO for assistance in finding a different place to stay and releasing the unit so the host could re-rent if they wanted (VRBO would not), we were on our own.
