(2 reviews in 1) I can't say enough about how amazing this place was! If I could give it more stars I would! We were two families (4 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 tweens), and the space was perfect for us. Very clean and spacious. Lots of towels for the beach and pool, kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking, including a ton of spices. The beds and pillows were probably one of our favorite parts of the house as they were super comfortable and laying down at the end of the day was like heaven, especially in the AC'd bedrooms! The pool and outdoor area was perfect, equipped with a bbq and enough seating for all of us. The greenery in the yard makes it really private and like our own little oasis. It is literally across the street from Kailua Beach Park and an easy walk over to Lanikai Beach, which was amazing to see in person! Thank you so much Peter for allowing us to stay in your gorgeous beach house! We will definitely be repeat guests in the future! This place is a 11/10! We came with 2 families, 8 people total and were more than comfortable. The house is gorgeous and has everything you need, including things for the beach. My favourite part is the nice private backyard with pool and the pineapple chandelier!! We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at the house and everything went very smoothly from check-in to departure. Peter was communicative and quick with his responses. The location was exceptional with a very short drive to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island (Lanikai) and a short walk to Kailua beach. We were able to walk a pedestrian trail into town which was fantastic as well. The house was appointed with absolutely everything we needed (special mention for all the beach toys and accessories for both our young daughter and adults alike!). Would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The location was great. We even tackled nearby Laniki Pillbox hike. There were 8 adults and we enjoyed the 4 spacious bedrooms and 4 baths. The kitchen was well stocked. Peter was very helpful and easy to communicate with.

Everything was just as expected and even better. The house was lovely and so well stocked and maintained. We enjoyed everything about it. Access to the beautiful Kailua Beach was easy and so very nice. We even had a unique experience (to us) of a tsunami evacuation! We all wish it were just a bit closer to Chicago. Peter is the most responsive owner I’ve ever worked with through VRBO.
