Comfortable hotel!

Very happy with the accommodations, location and the service.

Breakfast was satisfactory and quite substantial.

There was a missed cleaning day. We had to call the Reception and request for the cleaning and replacement of towels.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely use this hotel again.

Very friendly staff. Good sized room with access to an outside terrace. Very comfortable bed, nice to have both bath and shower. Parking right outside, so we could leave the car and walk into town for dinner. Swimming pool a bonus. We appreciated having the kitchenette in the room.

No plug in bathroom basin. Hairdryer didn’t work.

Nice hotel, lovely staff, good price

The room was nice and spacious. The staff were all really helpful and friendly. The pool, steam room and Sauna were a real treat!

Air con wasn't working, breakfast was ok, but could have been better- I wouldn't recommend the sausages, very processed!

FILTHY SUB STANDARD ACCOMMODATION

Nothing!

Everything from the bedroom to the service was sub-standard. The beds were only fit for children. Any person larger than a size 10 UK could not sleep comfortably in the beds. The beds had thin and springy mattresses. The floors were dirty with lots of dust. There was no soap in the dispenser in the bathroom. There was no bracket for a shower to be used unless you squatted in the bath. The towels were so used and small, only fit for drying a baby! The curtains were falling off the curtain pole and did not stretch the full width of the windows therefore other guests walking pass could see in. The air conditioning unit had instructions however only in French! We spent the first hour of our stay trying to find instructions on the Internet to operate it. Access to checkin was strictly from 4pm - 8pm. There was no staff on site thereafter to help with queries such as the air conditioning. We were told if any queries contact the number on the front door and that 'they' were at 'our disposal'. However when we rang to get help with the AC, the rude person who was at 'our disposal' refused to take our call! Instead they texted, in French, to say how can we help! As you can imagine trying to discuss the instructions to operate the AC unit over text and in English/French, was a disaster! Eventually we gave up and stayed in a sticky, sweaty room! I would not recommend the Tulip Inn and would therefore suggest customers book the Ibis Hotel a few doors up! DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS OF THE EXTERIOR AS WE WERE!

Dishwasher was leaking l; supposedly fixed it but still leaked. Washed up in sink for whole stay. Cleaning staff only average as was management

Internet not working and no apology. Ac controlled centrally and set at 23 degrees, far too hot. Asked for it to be changed and the answer was no.

Fantastic hotel, wish we could have stayed longer. A 10 minute walk to the harbour at Honfleur. Comfortable rooms. Great location. Very nice swimming pool.

Supplement necessary for people with reduced mobility. No easy to get downtown except by driving, for people with reduced mobility due to steep entrance driveway and lack of footpaths leading downtown

Relaxing hotel quite close to town.

Nice room with balcony overlooking the Pont de Normandy. Only a short walk along the river to the centre of Honfleur. Pool was good. Easy parking.

Door on the freezer compartment of the fridge was broken so could not be used. Little more attention to cleaning would be useful.

Convenient to Honfleur on a roundabout as you enter town.

Cereals, cooked breakfast option and French breakfast options. Swimming pool was warm although not very large.

Our room 001 was at the end of the building so rather dark but quiet. However it was handy for breakfast.

The bed was uncomfortable. The non-smoking policy is not enforced, people are smoking in their rooms, the property stinks of cigarette smoke.

Was a good stopover and would book again

The continental breakfast was very good- well presented and fully stocked. Loved the space we had which made a lot of difference given we had our dog with us. The bed was very comfortable. Swimming pool added bonus.

Brutally honest here - the rooms were hot so we had to open windows but as our room was directly above the entrance we suffered a lot of noise until very late. Air-con would have made a big difference as with windows closed quite quiet. Slightly disappointing that the pool didn’t open until 9am so pre breakfast swim not possible (for us)

The room was suitable for its purpose (divided into two spaces). The location was good for traveling by car. Everything worked well, no problems/issues. Air conditioning, it happened to be a warm day.

Great place to stay.

The room was great with a small kitchenette and fridge which was great as we were travelling. The pool was perfect and there was a good seating area outside. The bed was really comfortable.

This is an accessible spa format, great for families with small children and compatible with the needs of us who are a bit older. Our room could accommodate a family with a spacious open main room with a microwave, fridge and kitchen sink built-in, a full washroom with bath and shower and a separate toilet and sink near the main door. There was a lovely little table for dining, but the complimentary breakfast room was just outside our door on the main floor. We benefitted from the generous laundromat facilities on-site at this stage of our tour—the staff and hotel management were very solicitous and helpful.

This place suited us to a "t" No complaints.

Overall fine, but try to avoid room 1.

Our ground floor room had a French door & there was what seemed to be an untidy storage area nearby. I would have liked to be able to have the door slightly open for some fresh air overnight, but it couldn’t be locked in a slightly open position. It would have been a problem anyway, because when I did open it late at night, there were some people, staff members presumably on a smoking break (?), in the storage area, which seemed to magnify their loud talking and laughing. The room was fine apart from that.
