A lovely cottage up the hill out of town which makes it very secluded and quiet, with wonderful views over towards the Monsal trail. The inside was clean and tidy - very bijou some would say. Adequate for two of us with our dog; with only one toilet it might be a bit of a squeeze for 4. The property had an adequately stocked kitchen (cutlery, table and cooking ware), a comfy sitting room, and a small but comfy bedroom.
The entrance to Prospect Terrace off Stanedge Road is tight if you have a bigger car or SUV - mind your wing mirrors! Similarly, parking is tight; the easiest is to reverse on to the drive. It would have been nice to have had some local products in the hamper left by the owners rather than generic foodstuffs that can be bought oneself. I guess we’ve been spoilt by other places we’ve stayed! Also a pint of milk in the fridge and a bag of ice in the freezer (not the little trays of ice that were in there), would have been appreciated.

Lovely well kept cottage. Location is great , not far from the Town centre. Loads of attractions around and amenities , and very quiet neighbourhood.
Access to parking area is very tight . Hard sharp stones on the floor in rear courtyard . Could do with maybe artificial turf or similar in a part area for dogs to sit or lay.
