Lovely stay in a perfect cottage in Ludlow

A beautifully decorated and well maintained property. Liked the mixture of traditional and modern decor. The kitchen contained everything you could need for a self catering holiday. The bathroom was a decent size and contained a large shower. A lovely comfortable bed with nice linen. Modern smart televisions and DAB radios all around the cottage.

No dedicated parking space directly outside the cottage. Lack of wardrobes in bedrooms meant clothes had to be hung on the wall hooks provided.

Home from home.

Charlie’s cottage is exceptional. It is located well for the town centre, and not far from a supermarket and train station. It’s very much a home from home feeling with ample supplies on the kitchen and bathroom. The cottage has some unique and distinctive features and it was lovely to walk in to a warm cosy cottage filled with festive decorations.

Probably one of the best holiday rentals I’ve stayed in, in recent years.

Great location, only a few minutes walk into the town centre. Easy parking close to property. Prompt response from host.

Check out was a little early, but host did facilitate a slightly earlier check in, and extended the parking permit to allow to revisit the town before traveling home.

Bijou Perfection

Fabulous! Beautifully furnished and considerately equipped with everything you could possibly require. Every nook and cranny of Charlie's Cottage is full of useful, thoughtful things. It's clear that much thought has been given to making the cottage welcoming and comfortable for guests. Charlie's Cottage feels cosy and loved. The hosts are helpful, hospitable and affable. The cottage is perfectly situated for fantastic restaurants, tempting shops, history and gorgeous walks; all just a pleasant stroll away. We didn't move the car once during our long weekend!

Lovely property on a lovely town

Excellent location and very well presented. Owner had left a history of the property which was very interesting. Lots of information regarding things to do and local shops

Although a parking permit was given there is no guarantee that you will get a space and might have to pay extra. We were lucky and always found a space.

Perfect in Every way.

Our second stay and it was perfect. A home from home feeling. Kitchen is well stocked, the sofa and beds comfy and spring time garden is in bloom. Charlie’s cottage is well maintained and is a real hidden treasure. See you soon!

Just a perfect stay

Had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay at Charlie's Cottage for 3 nights in December. The cottage is really well equipped and beautifully decorated. There were so many lovely touches and I especially appreciated the Christmas decorations (felt a bit like the Holiday movie!) It's clear that this cottage is well loved by the owners and their communication was great; instruction manual and labels on things was also very helpful. The location is great, and I was able to find on street packing, a digital parking permit is arranged by the host making things super easy. My only dissapointment was that I wasn't staying for Christmas!! Would love to return.

Quaint characterful immaculate cottage , would unreservedly recommend .

A gorgeous cottage in the lovely village of Ludlow . Excellent facilities , beautiful and quaint . So well looked after and decorated . It was cold outside and the cottage was lovely and cosy . Ludlow has lots to see and do and we ate out every night and did not have a bad meal . Would absolutely stay here again .

Brilliant stay

This property is a hidden gem which we are so pleased we were able find available for the dates we required. From the moment we entered it was clear how special it was it had everything we needed and more, the attention to detail was so noticeable. Contact with Rachel and Shaun was spot on and the details provided were brilliant. So we certainly will be looking to return later in the year, subject to availability of course. Tha k you for a fabulous break.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful cottage with attentive hosts.

Everything was provided for a wonderful stay - the cottage (built in 17C) was authentic with modern facilities. Rachel and Shaun made sure everything was to our satisfaction (which it was) The location of the cottage is only 2 minutes away from the centre of the lovely town of Ludlow. We also made the 20 minute train journey to Hereford from the nearby station.

Lovely cottage in a great location

Charlies cottage is well equipped and very comfortable, especially the king sized bed. The shower is fabulous. It has a small rear garden that's pleasant to sit in on a warmish evening. Location is fabulous with much to see nearby. The cottage is very close to the centre of town giving you easy access to the regular markets and some good restaurants (our favourites being Parkway , Angel, and Csons) and bars (favourites being Ludlow brewery and a new quirky micro pub The Blood Bay) . The Ludlow Town Tour is really worth doing - very interesting town history,

The stairs in the house are a bit steep and walking around the town frequently involves a hill, fine for us - for now!

Living room disappointing

Kitchen really well equipped, plenty of hot water and good shower.

Horrible plug-in air fresheners gave me a migraine until all had been located and removed. The only table was small and wobbly so had to eat on our laps. Settee quite uncomfortable and living room very dark.

Location was excellent, in a reasonably quiet road but 5 minutes away from town centre and 2 minutes walk to supermarket. All communication with hosts was quickly answered and access to property easy
