Marvellous place to stay!
The house was lovely and spacious, well-situated for the town; parking was easy just round the corner in Broad Street, payable by app with no time restrictions. The property has excellent WiFi connection. Clean, comfortable and full of interesting features. We would love to stay again if we holiday in that direction another time.
There was a problem with the boiler so no hot water in the taps during our stay, but the plumber was coming in to fix it ready for next occupants. It was not really a problem for a four night stay, however, as there was a very efficient gas heater for warmth and the kettle supplied most of our hot water needs.

Great location and comfy!
The property is very centrally located, the facilities are very good and the rooms comfortable. It is located on a through road, which made our drop-off of luggage a little pushed - we stopped for half a minute to unload at the door before heading to the central car park. People were very understanding but we had to be quick! Our stay was for 2 nights but, if you're staying longer, there are clothes washing and drying facilities in the basement, which I'd find very useful for a longer stay.

Very good
This is a beautiful period property which is very spacious and well equipped. It has everything you need for a weekend break. The beds are spotlessly clean and comfy and it is in walking distance of all the local amenities.
It is situated on a very narrow road which can be busy at times which leads to some traffic noise.There are no parking facilities at the property so you need to use the public car parks. There is only a very tiny courtyard at the back of the property and no views. In the lounge area you have a 2 seater sofa bed which is extremely uncomfortable and just one armchair. We ended up using wooden chairs to sit on at night because we couldn’t get comfy.

The lounge didn’t have enough comfortable seats for us all. However due to the layout of the property not easy to get another sofa in.
