Absolute stunning view from terrace.
A long walk uphill of you don’t have a car. No foodstore in Fiumelatte

The view from the balcony was outstanding, also having our morning cup of tea in bed looking out to the view from our bedroom was amazing. The house was large, with a downstairs and upstairs bathroom. There is a garage but we didn’t have a car as we arrived by train, the walk from the station is about 20 minutes, but it is uphill to the property but the views on the way are spectacular. It is about a 40 minute walk into Varenna which we did every day, kept us fit.
Although there was hand soap , It would have been nice to have body and hair wash in the bathrooms, also some tea bags and coffee sachets, as there wasn’t a shop near by, nearest shop was in Varenna, so be prepared to carry a shopping bag with milk, cereal, teabags etc uphill. There is a restaurant two minutes away from the house but unfortunately for us it was closed for holidays.
