MINI MAGIC by Design Studio

L'apartament és genial. El lloc on està ens va enamorar, a 1' tens una platja on gairebé sempre estareu sols (i això que hem anat a l'agost) , nosaltres anavem a veure el sunset cada dia allà sense ningú. Hi ha un restaurant just al costat i el tren a uns 5', tot i que el passeig fins a Varenna és molt maco i vas rodejant el llac.

No hi ha cap supermercat aprop. Vem agafar el tren i vem fer dues parades per carregar bosses i fer la compra de tots els dies que hi erem.

Wymaga generalnego remontu. Nie było zbyt czysto.

The internet connection was very poor

Good value for money considering the location. Varenna is a very romantic area of Como and very popular. The location is excellent - 20min walk (no crazy hills), path was lit, and was the main selling point for us. Host is responsive. There are no accessible taxis so be prepared to do the walk if you want to go into Varenna. It is really lovely and overlooks Villa Monastero. No need to pay to see it- you see it on the walk from above! The property is spacious and has all the amenities we needed (hairdryer iron etc). Bathroom was small and a little tired… Main areas were ok - it is an old property so to be expected. Kitchen was great and newly done. The property is far away from local shops and so as a pointer to the host, it would be great if a couple of bottles of water were available on arrival or some basic amenities. We arrived to the property late and we were gasping. The water is ok to drink but would be a nice touch and hopefully not too expensive for the host.

Just as above really. Property felt a little tired but it is an old building. Bathroom could do with a re vamp but this might just be us being picky. I disagree with previous very harsh comments. We did notice a few ants in the kitchen but it was our own fault as we left a plate in the sink temporarily. The previous comments clearly took food into their bed if they had an issue in this regard. Unreasonable review. Also, the property is right outside the lake- of course there are going to be some bugs sometimes. Don’t leave the windows open. Yes, dusting could be a touch more thorough, but it is an old property! What do you expect. Finally, it would be helpful for the host to point out in the private messages that the property is up the stairs. We didn’t realise on arrival.
