Pett Level Beach House

The location was really ideal for us. Pett Level is a quiet beach area. It is a pebble beach with limited facilites meaning it is frequented by a quieter clientele. The miles of beaches, with loads of parking along the roads means there is plenty of space for everyone to have a peaceful and private time even in peak summer. The house was lovely. Great garden space, large bedrooms and enjoyable living room. We did not use the kitchen faciities much but they looked very modern and clean. There is a large fridge freezer. We look forward to an opportunity to return here!

Everything was exactly as shown on the pictures. So clean and lovely beautiful home all facilities as said on the description 100 % recommended.

The only thing that can be improved is the internet, it was very poor no matter if you moved the hub closer to where you were.

Location lovely - beach and bracken within metres. Only downside was the mosquitoes- something in the house to repel them would have been great. Beautifully decorated, felt luxurious, spacious and personal, and the levels work really well.

Absolutely not okay that it was not possible to shower. Couldn't use the ground floor shower for the children, as it wasn't possible to get that to a usable temperature without scalding water continuing to come out of the bath tap, and using the upstairs one caused water to pour through the ceiling below (in spite of it having been previously patched up). The kids loved the beach, and we did have some baths, but for the rate, a working shower should have been a very basic expectation. Guide to the house requested flagging issues in a maintenance book, but we couldn't find this. Front door couldn't always be opened from the inside, which could be distressing in case of a fire (other exits available, but people aren't always thinking straight in that situation). Weren't sure what to do, given the limited hours for phone response, when we couldn't get the key safe open, but managed it eventually.
