About this house rental
The entire house is yours!
Pandia, built in 1705, is a spacious, light-filled house nestled in beautiful, expansive (1 hectare) gardens featuring flower beds, beech forests, and lawns. Private parking.
Perfect for couples, families, nature lovers, hikers, cyclists/mountain bikers, artists, and anyone who simply wants to enjoy a beautiful, peaceful getaway. Dogs welcome.
Perfect for exploring Cornwall: the wild north coast for surfing and swimming; the charming south coast with its sandy beaches and fishing villages; the dramatic landscapes of Bodmin Moor. Many towns offer activities for children.
The Accommodation
The first floor features an open-concept layout with a large kitchen, dining table, sitting area, and open fireplace.
Upstairs are three bedrooms: a large master bedroom with a king-size bed and two beautiful windows. The middle room has two single beds and a large window overlooking the garden. The third room, with a single bed, overlooks a field. There is also a large, bright bathroom with a shower over the bathtub.
Pandia has its own garden with outdoor furniture. Enjoy a picnic or a glass of wine in peace and quiet. Many birds, such as titmice, woodpeckers, owls, and others, live in the garden. Deer, foxes, and hedgehogs like to stop by.
Children will love Pandia and have a blast exploring the surroundings. There’s plenty of information about local attractions and “things to do,” as well as tips for places further afield. We have board games and puzzles for cozy family evenings.
Notes: The upper and lower floors are connected by an open staircase. There are also freely accessible ponds in the garden. We speak English, German, and French.
Fun Fact. Pandia was once a horse stable. The living room used to house the horses’ stalls. You can still see the built-in feed troughs. The current kitchen was used to store carriages. A wall separated the horses from the carriages—we’ve preserved a short section of this wall (complete with a peephole through which the stable master could secretly check on the horses).
