About this house rental
Welcome to our WineDown Retreat! Grill in the backyard, people watch on the front porch or take a 10 minute walk to downtown Port Clinton and the Jet Express letting you experience all the entertainment of the islands without having to worry about parking!
Take the Jet over to the islands or visit some the local favorites (The Gristmill, Coffee Express, The Brick House, McCarthy's Pub and Scooters Dairy Bar)
Cedar Point is a short 20-25 minute drive!
The space
This is our very own 1890 century home we have recently renovated!
The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and attached bathroom.
Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms each with 2 TwinXL beds. Please note due to the layout of house of this age, you will need to walk thru one bedroom to get to the 2nd upstairs bedrooms.
As with a house of this age there is no plumbing on the 2nd floor and therefor bathrooms are on the first floor.
The upstairs bedrooms each have mini split heating and cooling systems to control the temperature of your individual rooms.
The stairs are a bit steep so watch your step.
Washer and Dryer are located in the basement which does have a low ceiling.

Property was just as described, within walking distance of attractions. The stairs are steep, but doable. Property owners are very responsive. It was perfect for a girls weekend away!

We chose this home due to beds/baths needed for our family. It was close to Lake Erie, Marblehead and Cedar Point. It is an older home but kept in good condition. Host was great in communicating with us. Home had all that was needed. We had a good vacation.
