Our hotel-restaurant is a family-run establishment, located right on the premium Saar-Hunsrück-Steig hiking trail and in a quiet setting by the lake. The family-friendly Ruwer-Hochwald Bike Trail (approx. 2 km away) takes you from Kell along the Ruwer River to Trier. The distance to the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig is just 200 m.
The hotel has been awarded three stars and the “Wanderbares Deutschland” seal of quality.
In the restaurant, you’ll find a blend of modern comfort and rustic coziness. We serve fresh, seasonal dishes daily, as well as homemade cakes and ice cream specialties. You can spend relaxing hours on our newly designed Mediterranean-style terrace with a lake view.
The quiet, comfortable hotel rooms are almost all equipped with a lake view, a balcony or terrace, shower/toilet, TV, and Wi-Fi.
Hikers, cyclists, and bus groups are warmly welcome. We offer luggage service, pick-up and drop-off service, sack lunches, and informational materials for cycling and hiking tours. Package deals available upon request.
