About this house rental
Welcome to the Burg Heider Mühle vacation home, idyllically situated between Lampaden and Heddert, near Burg Heid on the Heidkopf, which stands at an elevation of 530 m above sea level.
Leave your everyday life behind and relax with the whole family—and feel free to bring your dog—in this vacation home, renovated in 2020, with a total of 150 m² of living space. Enjoy the 6,000 m² garden with direct access to the Ruwer River and the large sun terrace, furnished with a table and seating for six. In winter, you can cozy up in front of the rustic wood-burning stove in the living room.
The old mill is flanked by the Ruwer River on one side and the former millstream on the other. Today, its water powers the turbine that supplies Burg Heid and the mill with eco-friendly electricity.
In the 1960s, the mill—which had been in operation until then—was converted into a comfortable single-family home. In 2017, the interior of the house was completely renovated; in the fall of 2020, it was fully refurbished as a vacation home.
The vacation home features central heating, a parking space, bicycle storage, Wi-Fi (fiber-optic connection), satellite TV, and a hi-fi system with an iPhone/iPad connection.

On the first floor of the vacation home is a modern kitchen with a gas stove (5 burners), a microwave-oven combination, a dishwasher, a refrigerator and freezer, a filter coffee maker (filters are provided), kettle, toaster, dishes, silverware, and glasses for a total of 12 people, as well as a wide range of cooking utensils and a basic selection of spices (salt, pepper, vinegar, oil, sugar).
Adjacent to the kitchen is a separate dining room with a large table that seats a total of 8 people.
The living room is furnished with spacious sofas and reclining armchairs; the cozy Bullerjan wood-burning stove provides additional warmth and comfort. A flat-screen TV and a modern stereo system with a connection for iPhone/iPad, as well as a selection of games and reading material, round out the overall experience.
From the living room, you can access the sun terrace, which is furnished with a table and chairs.
On the first floor of the house are the three bedrooms and the modern bathroom. Bedroom 1 features a king-size bed (1.80 m x 2.10 m) with an open footboard, as well as a sleeper sofa. Bedroom 2 features a queen-size bed (1.60 m x 2.00 m), also with an open footboard, and Bedroom 3 features a French bed (1.40 m x 2.00 m) and a single bed (0.90 m x 2.00 m). A linens package (bed linens plus 2 towels) can be added for an additional fee.
The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, sink with shelf, walk-in shower, bathtub, full-length mirror, hair dryer, makeup mirror, soap, and toilet paper.
On-site costs: Included: Water, electricity, heat, high-speed Wi-Fi (fiber optic), firewood, starter kit (e.g., toilet paper, dishwasher tablets), and final cleaning. Extra: Upon request, we’re happy to provide bed linens and towels.We charge 15 euros (2027 20€) per person per stay for these items. Dogs are welcome here. We charge 15 euros per dog per night. Es war ein wirklich rund um den Erwartungen entsprechender Aufenthalt mit sehr netten Vermietern. Vor allem aber ist das Haus, gerade dafür, dass auch Hunde mitgebacht werden dürfen, sehr mühevoll eingerichtet, ordentlich und sauber. Man kann sich also auch als Nicht-Hndebesitzer dort sehr wohlfühlen.

Herzlichen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt! Sehr angenehme, freundliche und unkomplizierte Gastgeber. Wir hatten tolle Tage in der alten Mühle. Das Haus ist schön, praktisch und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Küche ist top ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.

Wat een prachtig huis is het en het is er heerlijk rustig en mooi! De omgeving is prachtig, vooral met de heerlijke beekjes die langs het huis stromen. Verder zijn er veel mooie dorpjes in de omgeving en is Trier natuurlijk goed bereikbaar (20 minuten). Je kunt direct vanuit het huis een mooie wandeling maken en hoewel we geen hond bij ons hadden, kan ik me voorstellen dat hij zich hier ook erg op zijn gemak zou voelen!
Het huis zelf is van alle gemakken voorzien, is zeer schoon en fris, en is prachtig gerenoveerd tot een goede kwaliteit. Het is smaakvol ingericht en bevat alles wat u nodig heeft voor een geweldige vakantie. De bedden zijn heerlijk, de keuken is meer dan goed uitgerust en de bijzondere open haard (met genoeg hout) is heerlijk nu de avonden frisser worden.
Maar naast al het andere waren we vooral verbaasd over de ongeëvenaarde vriendelijkheid en gastvrijheid van Christian en Ursula. Er was een persoonlijk welkomstbericht samen met wat lokale (heerlijke!) delicatessen en de communicatie was snel en duidelijk. Het was goed om te zien dat ze er alles aan deden om ervoor te zorgen dat we een fijne tijd hadden in hun huis.
Wij hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in dit prachtige huis en kunnen het dan ook iedereen van harte aanbevelen! Wij komen in ieder geval terug!

Wir wurden super empfangen, Haus war super gepflegt und man hat sich super wohl gefühlt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder kommen um bei Ihnen Urlaub zu machen. Super empfehlenswert
